Reaction to Flynn Guilty Plea Reveals MSM Isn’t Just Biased it’s a Key Element in a Criminal Conspiracy

Elder Patriot – Despite the near orgasmic reaction from the Trump-hating mainstream media over Trump’s former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn’s guilty plea this morning, experienced prosecutors see this as evidence that Mueller has run out of bullets.

If Mueller had proof that a conspiracy existed between then candidate Trump and the Russians to bias his election, and that Flynn had knowledge of and participated in it, he would have demanded that Flynn plead guilty to the conspiracy itself and not simply lying to investigators.

In order to add gravity to the guilty-plea allocution it is considered critical that the defendant explains the conspiracy and admits his involvement in the scheme when naming his co-conspirators.

The fact that Flynn simply admitted to lying to the FBI only confirms that he lies which is why President Trump fired him less than four weeks into his presidency.

Flynn’s indiscretion is commonly referred to as a process crime meaning that while his testimony may have been tainted or intended to deceive investigators, his actions on behalf of the Trump campaign weren’t outside the law.

That Flynn contacted Russia, on orders from Trump, to begin coordinating efforts to eradicate ISIS doesn’t violate any law.  In fact, it’s what the incoming NSA is supposed to do to insure a smooth and effective transition.

The Washington Post confirmed Flynn acted completely within the law when they ran this headline on January 23rd just three days after Trump’s inauguration:

“FBI reviewed Flynn’s calls with Russian ambassador but found nothing illicit”

It went on to debunk the entire conspiracy narrative in the first paragraph:

“The FBI in late December reviewed intercepts of communications between the Russian ambassador to the United States and retired Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn— national security adviser to then-President-elect Trump — but has not found any evidence of wrongdoing or illicit ties to the Russian government, U.S. officials said.”

Had Flynn’s conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak even hinted that a quid pro quo was on the table for their meddling in the election that would’ve demanded immediate action on the part of the Obama Justice Department.  That didn’t happen.

Mueller’s offer to accept a plea for lying to investigators is further proof that he has found no evidence that a conspiracy existed.  If Mueller had that evidence he’d be insisting on a conspiracy indictment in order to force Flynn to plea to the more serious offenses before offering leniency for his cooperation in targeting Trump.

Regardless, the mainstream media has worked itself into frenzy over a relatively minor admission.  No money changed hands, no national security secrets were compromised, no laptops or blackberries were destroyed, and no personal servers were wiped clean of evidence.  Now that would be evidence of a criminal conspiracy.

In fact, Trump actually tightened sanctions on the Russians following the election.

Now remember back to 2008 when the same mainstream media ignored candidate Barack Obama’s back channel negotiations with the Mullahs in Iran.

Michael Ledeen, a former consultant to the National Security Council and U.S. Defense Department, reported that Obama opened a backchannel with Iran through retired Ambassador William G. Miller.  Miller had previously led the 1979 negotiating mission during the Iran hostage crisis during the 2008 presidential campaign.

At the time Ledeen asserted that “The actual strategy is detente first, and then a full alliance with Iran throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

Even as Obama’s strategy came to fruition over the next eight years the MSM remained silent.

It’s becoming evident that further referencing of the old guard national media as “mainstream” only serves only serves to distort just how nefarious it has have become.  The cabal does not simply offer a different point of view, it seeks to distort the publics view of government’s growing intrusion into our lives and freedoms.

Its corrupted narratives and the lack of proportion in their coverage has, since the election of Trump been so biased, that they have removed any doubt that they represent the Deep State and the corporate and foreign interests behind the Deep State.  Period.
