Elder Patriot – Arutz Sheva 7 has reported that an Egyptian official has threatened to withhold support from the terror group Hamas if they don’t stop endangering lives inside of Israel.
According to the report:
Egyptian intelligence officials seethed with anger on Thursday night after missiles were fired from Gaza at Tel Aviv, Israel Hayom reported.
One official, who was one of the Egyptian delegates present in Gaza during those dramatic moments, told Israel Hayom’s Daniel Sirioti about the delegation’s conversation with Hamas Thursday night.
“At the beginning of the meeting, the atmosphere was very relaxed,” the Egyptian official told Sirioti. “We had just returned from Israel with answers, we estimated that Hamas would accept them and allow us to begin a stable, long-term peace. A few minutes later, one of the Egyptian delegation’s aides entered the room looking worried, and gave the delegation leaders his cellular phone.”
“The smiles immediately turned into frowns, and senior delegates turned to Hamas leader Yahyah Sinwar and yelled at him: ‘Where do you think you’ll end up with your double play? We’re sitting here to finalize a peace agreement with Israel, and behind our backs you allow your people to fire missiles at Tel Aviv??’
“‘If Israel decides to start a wide scale operation in Gaza, this time we’re not going to do anything to stop the Israeli attacks. Even if Israel decides to bring down your rule in Gaza by assassinating every single one of you, while they reconquer Gaza. Egypt and its regional allies will not lift a finger to stop the Israeli response.'”
Make no mistake, this is the “Trump Effect” in action. Newly inaugurated President Trump’s visit to Riyadh only a few months after his inauguration is now yielding results.
Trump addressed 60 leaders of Arab nations in Riyadh:
Trump’s Riyadh address put the burden on traditional U.S. allies to take the lead in attacking the ongoing problem of the spread of ISIS-style ideology. Though respectful and diplomatic, the president did not shy away from using terms like “Islamic extremism.” That boldness was a necessary negotiating tactic.
Now understand who the players were during the recent missile attacks fired from Gaza. They are directly aligned with terrorists. Terrorists that former President Obama coddled and seemingly rewarded for their evil doings.
In 2017 senior Hamas official, Musa Abu Marzouk, revealed that the future of his movement involved a stronger alliance with Hezbollah.
Hezbollah is a proxy of Iran charged with carrying out terror attacks in furtherance of Iran’s hegemonic goals.
Marzouk admitted that, “We have ongoing contacts and understandings. But we preferred to keep them away from the spotlight. Hamas and Hezbollah are in one line in the fight against Israel, and we coordinate our positions regarding the Palestinian cause. Hamas will continue to cooperate with resistance groups that support the Palestinian resistance.”
The alliance between Hamas and Hezbollah is a direct result of the renewed relations between Iran and Hamas.
Now keep in mind who has helped fund both Iran and Hezbollah.
That’s right, the Manchurian President, Barack Hussein Obama.
It was the Obama administration that shut down Project Cassandra, after an eight year long investigation by law enforcement authorities.
Politico broke the story:
The campaign, dubbed Project Cassandra, was launched in 2008 after the Drug Enforcement Administration amassed evidence that Hezbollah had transformed itself from a Middle East-focused military and political organization into an international crime syndicate that some investigators believed was collecting $1 billion a year from drug and weapons trafficking, money laundering and other criminal activities.
Over the next eight years, agents working out of a top-secret DEA facility in Chantilly, Virginia, used wiretaps, undercover operations and informants to map Hezbollah’s illicit networks, with the help of 30 U.S. and foreign security agencies.
They followed cocaine shipments, some from Latin America to West Africa and on to Europe and the Middle East, and others through Venezuela and Mexico to the United States. They tracked the river of dirty cash as it was laundered by, among other tactics, buying American used cars and shipping them to Africa. And with the help of some key cooperating witnesses, the agents traced the conspiracy, they believed, to the innermost circle of Hezbollah and its state sponsors in Iran.
Why did Obama choose to shut it down? Think about what else was happening at the time.
Obama was intent on securing the Iran Nuclear Deal and he didn’t want closing down Hezbollah’s estimated $1 Billion criminal enterprise to anger Iran and give them an excuse to walk away from receiving $150 Billion more. And let’s not forget the estimated $1.6 Billion in untraceable cash.
Then Trump came along.
