Trump Hammers Political Prop John Dean: ‘A Loser For Many Years… Was Disbarred… Other Than That He’s Doing a Great Job’

Elder Patriot| On Monday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler began the political show trial to advance their impeachment narrative and fuel the radical Democratic voter base.  Nadler called their first witness, former Nixon rat John Dean.

The Pelosi/Nadler plan failed miserably.

Dean, who by his own admission was not appearing as a fact witness, was eviscerated by Republicans Jim Jordan and Matt Gaetz:

By the time Jordan and Gaetz were finished skewering Dean, he was exposed as little more than the Ghost of Watergate, – a forty-year-old political hit job that worked then, but that has failed to take down President Trump.

The intent was to conjure the Dem’s past glory days when the mainstream media gave all power to Democrats.

President Trump took to Twitter to call attention to Dean’s disgraced history.

Later in the day, during one of his impromptu pressers Trump tweaked Dean again:

“John Dean’s been a loser for many years… I think he was disbarred, and he went to prison. Other than that, he’s doing a great job.”

Trump had heard Dean counter Rep. Jordan when he made the claim earlier that “he went to prison.”  Dean was adamant that he had never been sentenced to prison.

Maybe not, but what would you call this from Wikipedia:

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) considered him the “master manipulator of the cover-up”. His guilty plea to a single felony in exchange for becoming a key witness for the prosecution, ultimately resulted in a reduced sentence, which he served at Fort Holabird outside Baltimore, Maryland.

The more times Dean feels compelled to deny he’s been to prison, the more stink that accrues to him.

Dean learned early on where the land of milk and honey is for weak-kneed Republican operatives who lack the cojones to defend themselves and their political allies.

Dean became a darling of the Left by turning on his friends and associates.  He allowed himself to become a political prop and was rewarded handsomely for it.

Dean amassed a small fortune writing about his experiences in a series of books and touring the United States to lecture.

Dean made so much money he couldn’t venture an answer as to how much CNN pays him to trash Trump (and pro-Trump Republicans) or how much he made off his book trashing George Bush.

Throughout Dean’s appearance, American’s had to be asking themselves what moron thought it was a good idea to bring him in for questioning.

The entire episode begged the question; Where the eff is Robert Mueller?
