Keep in mind how close this woman is to becoming president of the United States.
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer was among those most prominently mentioned to be Joe Biden’s vice presidential running mate.
Given Biden’s tenuous medical condition even he has admitted that whoever his running mate is better be ready to govern from day one.
Now consider her suitability to lead during a crisis.
“In World War II, there weren’t people lining up at the capitol to protest the fact that they had to drop everything they were doing and build planes or tanks, or to ration food.”
World War II? This aint WWII. And, the fact that she can’t understand the difference may be fine for a school marm, but it isn’t for the potential leader of the world.
On June 6, 1944, 29,000 Americans lost their lives during the amphibious assault on the beaches of Normandy. No one sheltered-in-place. Far from it, our boys tightened their chinstraps, grit their teeth, said NUTS, and proceeded to take back a continent.
Americans, all Americans were actively engaged in the fight against Naziism and totalitarianism, either in direct combat or stateside building, repairing and restocking those who were on the front lines.
Americans were doers… fighters… they’re not sit-on-their-ass pansies waiting for others to do the heavy lifting for them. And, no matter how much the social engineers dictating Democrats’ platforms work at it, that’s not who we’ve become as a people…
Americans don’t shelter in the face of adversity… they kick ass.
Hey governor, when you ask people to sacrifice ask everyone to sacrifice equally.
Shutting down Michiganders from accessing their vacation homes might have been acceptable had you not allowed those from other states into Michigan to enjoy their vacation homes in the same communities.
Not banning the use of Hydroxychloroquine at the same time it was proving highly effective at treating the coronavirus, that originated in Wuhan China, did nothing to convince citizens living under her rule was anything but an autocratic decree for the purpose of putting her thumb in President Trump’s eye.
Then there’s this…
(The Conservative Treehouse) There are few high-traffic businesses more densely populated than grocery stores. In fact, within the U.S. economy retail supermarkets have the highest foot traffic of any business sector in the entire economy; that’s just an empirical fact…. and the coronavirus impact increased that foot traffic by an average of 40 percent. Now, stop and think about this logically & apply a large dose of common sense. Think about human-to-human interface.
First, with approximately 90 percent of the total U.S. population penetrating through grocery outlets; and with 100% of that massive number of consumers going through checkout lanes; if the COVID-19 viral strain was as significant as claimed by the worst-case data, then supermarket cashiers would have been the highest exposed profession of U.S. workers in the entire nation. There wouldn’t even be a close second place…
… If the #1 at risk industry has operated, essentially without disruption and with almost zero substantive mitigation, while carrying the largest population exposure rate, then all other less-exposed business operations would have significantly less operational risk.
Why would anyone be concerned about opening their business?
If you take the factual outcome of the retail food industry as a measure, it would follow that other than a few proximity businesses which may need prudent modifications or remain temporarily closed (ex. modified airplane seating, concerts, stadiums or capacity seating venues etc), then all other businesses should immediately resume operations.
No other business segment within the economy is as exposed to the population as the retail food business; and yet supermarkets operated without issue.
So why shouldn’t all businesses immediately get back to work?
What is it about Democrats’ need for elitist women… imperial bitches… to run their affairs?
“You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right?”
