Republican Leadership Purposely Orchestrated The Healthcare Defeat

ELDER PATRIOT – In the disgusting political swamp that is Washington it is becoming increasingly likely that House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, both Republicans, deliberately orchestrated the failure of President Trump’s call to repeal and replace Obamacare for political reasons in wanton disregard for the needs of the people who were counting on better from them.

That neither like the president is widely known but what isn’t known is to what extent they might go to damage his presidency, especially if there may future political gains to be had in consolidating their power.

Nobody is talking about the mountain that Democrats face in the upcoming 2018 senatorial elections when they’ll be defending 23 of the 33 seats up for grabs.  There are also two Independents who caucus with Dems vying for re-election in 2018.  The Republicans are defending only 8 seats.

Of the eight seats only Jeff Flake from Arizona and Dean Heller from Colorado are considered to be facing tough re-election challenges.  The other six, Roger Wicker, Deb Fischer, Bob Corker, Ted Cruz, Orrin Hatch, and John Barrasso are all from heavily pro-Republican states and considered safe.

On the other side of the aisle Dems are facing significant tests in 13 states where voters may view their unwillingness to engage in anything more than resistance as a violation of the trust that was placed in them.  Seven of these Dems are from normally reliable red states.

Ryan and McConnell are engaging in a risky game of chicken that they hope will result in the destruction of Trump’s base and at the same time increase their control over Congress.

As of now it appears that Ryan and McConnell’s strategy may be successful when it comes to the Dems’ because their obstructionism and reliance on the Russia probe that’s going nowhere is bound to have serious political consequences when voters realize they’ve been duped.

Polls have consistently shown that it isn’t harming Trump, however.  And, it’s all because of you – the Trump base.

One thing has become abundantly clear Trump’s support has so far remained solid as a rock.  Any wavering of support has been on the part of rank and file Dems and anti-Trump Republicans who have trouble believing anything their party’s establishment pols have been doing or saying.

That is why Trump called McConnell’s bluff last night when it became obvious the Senate Majority Leader failed to deliver a palatable alternative to Obamacare:

McConnell had brazenly promised the entire nation on the night Donald Trump accepted the Republican nomination for president that Obamacare would be repealed day 1!

Trump’s promise to drain the swamp has had to wait until it was virtually undeniable that the greatest obstacle to his common sense agenda has been establishment Republicans but he is well on his way to doing that.  It’s now up to us, Trump’s supporters to Eric CantorRepublicans who have empowered McConnell to lie to us while representing globalist interests in 2018.

Stay strong fellow patriots.  Trump is lobbing us softballs.  Now it’s up to us to hit them.  We are winning!!!
