Radical Dems Obstructing Trump From Ending Government Funding of Anarchist Activists

Elder Patriot – The Deep State propaganda front CNN/Washington Post is again employing Alinsky-like tactics to isolate President Trump from building a competent cabinet that actually has the best interests of American taxpayers at heart.

Working in unison with Senate Democrats they continue undermining the president’s appointees by giving credence to un-named sources.

On Monday night, CNN reported that President Trump’s nominee to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs, Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson, whose confirmation hearing was to begin on Wednesday, has been delayed because of allegations made by un-named accusers.

The Deep State echo chamber, meant to lend credibility to un-named sources was repeated this morning in the Washington Post.  Next up in the echo chamber was CBS News:

Not caring how many people they destroy in the process their sole duty to the Deep State is to isolate this president in an effort to stifle his pro-American worker agenda.

Radical leftist Senator Richard Blumenthal, (Dem-CT) hid behind these allegations and issued this comment:

“There are reasons, as there are with every presidential appointee, for very close scrutiny and vetting.  We need to know if allegations raised by others may have some factual basis. That’s the process of vetting that has to occur.”

Perhaps Senators holding up President Trump’s nominees based accusations from anonymous sources need to familiarize themselves with the Sixth Amendment:

Amendment VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.

There is no question that the Senate plays an important role in approving or rejecting the president’s nominees based on their fitness for office but the record of the current crop of Democrats strongly suggests that they are deliberately blocking the President Trump’s appointments to keep him from advancing his America First agenda.

According to the Senate Republican Policy Committee (RPC) chaired by Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.):

“President Trump’s executive branch nominees are being confirmed at the slowest pace in decades, with only 364 confirmed through March 16, compared with 564 for President Obama.”

Corey Lewandowski, writing in the Hill explained:

The problem is that Democrats are slowing these nominations down with parliamentary tricks and using the Senate’s rules in a way that slows work in the chamber to a crawl. No Democratic senators are brave enough to actually engage in a long debate to obstruct the president’s nominees. Instead, they are cowardly hiding behind the rules and using them to slow-walk the Trump agenda by using fake filibusters of nominations. They never actually engage in extended debate to slow the process — they merely state their intention to filibuster, and Senate Republicans are allowing them to get away with it.

According to the Senate RPC statistics, confirmations by the middle of March in the year after a president was inaugurated break down as follows: Presidents George H.W. Bush had 483 confirmations; Bill Clinton had 600; George W. Bush had 600; Barack Obama had 564; and, Donald J. Trump had only 364.

For Obama that number included avowed Marxists.

Dems’ obstruction of Rear Adm. Jackson isn’t about his character or his qualifications, it’s for the same reason that Mike Pompeo is facing an uphill battle for his confirmation.  This is about preventing Trump’s nominees from cleaning out the waste and fraud at these agencies that took generations to over-fund so that would eventually serve as slush funds from which Obama funded foreign insurgencies and anti-American activists here and overseas.
