Elder Patriot – KHOU11 in Houston has reported that 30-year-old Kino Jimenez has been charged with a state felony count for Theft of Person.
Jimenez, you’ll recall, had become the subject of a nationwide viral video after ripping a MAGA hat from the head of a young Trump supporter and then dousing him with a soft drink when the victim began video recording Kino’s outrageous actions.
“You ain’t supporting s—, n—-!” a man identified as Jimenez is heard saying on camera after tossing a large drink in the direction of the teen filming the video. He then walks away with the hat while muttering “b—- a– motherf——.”
Once the video went viral, investigators identified Jimenez and arrested him at his home on July 6 on a warrant for theft of person. He was booked and released later that day on $5,000 bond.
Jimenez was also fired by his employer.
Now Jimenez’s problems just got worse.
A Texas grand jury has indicted Kino Jimenez on a charge of theft of person that, if convicted, carries with it jail time.
Jimenez’ arraignment is scheduled for Friday. His trial has been scheduled for Oct. 19.
