ELDER PATRIOT – During his speech to the people of Hiroshima this week, President Obama said:
“The wars of the modern age teach us this truth. Hiroshima teaches this truth. Technological progress without an equivalent progress in human institutions can doom us. The scientific revolution that led to the splitting of an atom requires a moral revolution as well.”
Nothing proves this president void of the moral imperative necessary to lead a nation’s military than do his own words.
Along with his Department of State, Obama is the architect of the Iran Nuclear Agreement.
The Obama administration entered the negotiations with the knowledge that Iran was and remains the number one state sponsor of terrorism for having, “repeatedly provided support for acts of international terrorism are designated pursuant to three laws: section 6(j) of the Export Administration Act, section 40 of the Arms Export Control Act, and section 620A of the Foreign Assistance Act. Taken together, the four main categories of sanctions resulting from designation under these authorities include restrictions on U.S. foreign assistance; a ban on defense exports and sales; certain controls over exports of dual use items; and miscellaneous financial and other restrictions.” This according to the U.S. Department of State’s website.
The agreement that resulted provided Iran with $150 billion and a clear path to nuclear weapons making his words at Hiroshima ring hollow.
In December of 2011 U.S. District Court Judge George B. Daniels ruled that Iran “materially and directly supported Al Qaeda in the September 11, 2001 attacks…”
Does anyone doubt that if Iran had access to nuclear weapons at that time Al Qaeda would’ve used them in the attack?
Obama’s recognition of the human institutions and moral foundations necessary of nuclear powers if we are to live in a peaceful world were ignored by him in his haste to pave a path to a nuclear Iran.
Hillary Clinton, whose husband refused to do anything to stop Osama Bin Laden when Daily Threat Assessments (DTA’s) were continually warning of these attacks, joined Obama in robustly endorsing the nuclear deal with Iran.
In a speech at the Brookings Institute prior to Congress voting, Mrs. Clinton voiced thinking equally as twisted as the word’s Obama delivered at Hiroshima: The choice according to her was to “move forward on a path to diplomacy or turn down more dangerous path leading to a far less certain and riskier future”.
Mrs. Clinton’s words are eerily reminiscent of those spoken by British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain prior to WW II:
“We should seek by all means in our power to avoid war, by analysing possible causes, by trying to remove them, by discussion in a spirit of collaboration and good will.”
Because Britain failed to act while Hitler continued unabated in building his military while committing acts of aggression against Germany’s neighbors, World War II was the result. Sixty million men, women and children lost their lives in the conflict with at least eleven million being exterminated in the most inhuman ways. Among the methods employed by the Germans were starvation and “medical” experimentation.

The Japanese who Obama equivocated before were equally inhumane in the treatment of their prisoners, often excising organs from living prisoners without anesthesia and conducting biological and chemical tests on others.
Iran now follows the same path that of pre-WW II Germany, committing atrocities to it’s own citizens and threatening its neighbors. Amplifying the Iranian threat is the terror they export to virtually every region of the earth.
Is This A Country You Can Negotiate With in Good Faith?
There are two other countries on the State Department’s list of state sponsors of terrorism, Syria and Sudan. Obama is importing tens of thousands of “refugees” from these two countries without sufficient background checks. The willingness to put Americans at risk in their own communities is not leadership.
The sad fact history teaches us is that evil men do exist. Leadership demands recognizing this evil and destroying their path to power before they can cause another holocaust. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama’s willingness to embrace Iran, nay strengthen the world’s number one state sponsor of terror with $150 billion dollars and nuclear weapons, reveals a callowness that fails to pass Obama’s own moral smell test.
Perhaps the greatest leader of the last century, Winston Churchill once said, “It is no use saying, ‘We are doing our best.’ You have got to succeed in doing what is necessary.” Nothing could be truer when it comes to foreign policy.
According to Alec Tyson, a senior researcher at Pew Research Center, the “success” of Clinton-Obama foreign policy has resulted in less than 15% of millenials believing that America is an exceptional country.
This is the failed legacy that they share.
This Memorial Day Americans should pause to remember the 60 million dead that were the result of the world’s desire to “move forward on a path to diplomacy” rather than face the cold facts before them.
The world can ill afford another four years of Clinton-Obama foreign policy.
