Laws For Thee But Not For Me… Private Gyms Forced to Remain Closed While Government-Owned Gyms Have Been Open For Some Time

If the videos of Queen Pelosi eating gourmet ice cream and violating San Francisco’s lockdown orders on salons, in order to get a blowout, followed by her blaming the owner for her own dereliction weren’t enough, we now learn just how privileged the city’s elites, her city’s elites, are being treated.

(NBC Bay Area) For months, the city of San Francisco health order has prevented local gyms from opening its doors, but some city-owned gyms have been back open for months and are allowing city employees to use them, crushing private gym owners.

“It’s shocking, it’s infuriating,” said Daniele Rabkin from Crossfit Golden Gate.

As it turns out, gyms servicing government employees are more prevalent than you would expect… but use is limited government employees.

Aside from the special workout privileges that have been granted to the police, the Hall of Justice gym shows judges, lawyers, bailiffs, and paralegals are also immune to the China virus as long as they limit themselves to working out in assigned government-owned gyms.

Dave Karraker, owner of MX3 Fitness in the Castro added his disgust with the double standard… “It just demonstrates that there seems to be some kind of a double standard between what city employees are allowed to do and what the residents of San Francisco are allowed to do.”

Karraker then points out what every honest person is thinking themselves…

“What the city has unwillingly done is created this great case study that says that working out indoors is actually safe.  So at this point, we’re just demanding that they allow us to have the same workout privileges for the citizens of San Francisco that the employees of San Francisco have.”

According to NBC Bay Area, when pressed for comment, the city referenced only “the current health order that does not allow indoor fitness gyms to operate, and per Mayor London Breed’s latest reopening announcement, privately owned gyms have to stay closed until at least the end of the month.”
