Elder Patriot – There’s been much speculation as to whether President Trump’s Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself to hand the reins of the Russia-Trump collusion to his corrupt Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in order to destroy the Trump presidency.
Or, has he been biding his time, taking notes and recording names on what will be proven to be a massive level of corruption planted within the DOJ and the FBI by the corrupt Obama administration?
We should know shortly since we are now a week removed from House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte’s letter to AG Session advising him that he was now under subpoena to produce documents previously denied to his committee by Rod Rosenstein. That document production is scheduled for noon today.
From the House Judiciary Committee website:
Washington, D.C. – House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) today subpoenaed the Department of Justice for several documents that have been withheld from the Committee, including the McCabe memos.
The McCabe memos are documents and communications written by former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe that memorialize discussions, meetings, or correspondence he had with senior officials. The House Judiciary Committee has been requesting the McCabe memos for months.
Today’s subpoena also covers all documents supporting the facts claimed by the FBI in its application for, and subsequent renewals of, a FISA order authorizing surveillance on Carter Page, as well as all documents and communications originally shared with the Gang of Eight related to the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election
And, the subpoena:
Today, it’s noon at the OK Corral. The betting here says Sessions produces the requested documents and the loud sucking sound that follows will be that of the draining swamp.
