Elder Patriot | Hindsight has a way of biting the political decepticons that inhabit the Washington swamp in the butt.
Consider this video of an exchange that took place during the October 22, 2012 presidential debate between President Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney:
OBAMA: Governor Romney, I’m glad that you recognize that Al Qaeda is a threat, because a few months ago when you were asked what’s the biggest geopolitical threat facing America, you said Russia, not Al Qaeda; you said Russia, in the 1980s, they’re now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because, you know, the Cold War’s been over for 20 years.
Can you imagine the outrage if President Trump expressed those same sentiments today?
It was exactly the insipid zinger that energize low information progressive voters but, six years later, Obama’s statement raises some serious questions about what the sitting president was hiding about the level of collusion between his administration and the Russians.
When Obama made that statement he his government had already approved the transfer 20% ownership of the United States’ Uranium stock to Russia.
When Obama made that statement the Russians were endeavoring to build a silicon valley of their own. The Russians have since developed hypersonic weapons against which we have no defense.
Even as he was preparing to exit the White House, and fearful that a Trump win would expose the rampant corruption and pro-global policy decisions of his presidency, Obama was coordinating creating chaos with the Russians in the event that Trump won.
Then there’s this:
Obama: Tell Vladimir I’ll have more flexibility after the election.
It sure seems that the Obama administration’s post-presidency assault on President Trump is dangerous and reflects, as it did throughout his presidency, that for him America… and Americans come last.
Russia expert Stephen F. Cohen explained the dangerous game that Democrats and decepticon RINO’s are playing following the Trump-Putin summit in Helsinki:
“I want my president to do –I didn’t vote for this president– but I want my president to do what every other president has done. Sit with the head of the other nuclear superpower and walk back the conflicts that could lead to war, whether they be in Syria, Ukraine, the Baltic nations, these accusations of cyber attacks.
“Every president has been encouraged to do that and applauded by both parties. Not Trump.
“Look what they did to him today. They had a kangaroo court. They found him guilty. And then you had the former head of the U.S. CIA, who himself ought to be put under oath and asked about his role in inventing Russiagate, calling the President of the United States treasonous. What have we come to in this country? And what is going to happen in the future?’
They see to hate or resent the idea of Trump as president, that they’ve lost all sense of American national security. If you ever get these people on, ask them this question for yourself, for me, for the American people. Do you, these people who are hunting Trump. do you prefer trying to impeach Trump to trying to avert war with nuclear Russia? That is the bottom line, and that is where we’re at today.
With this perspective consider the opposition to the border wall and the mercenary propaganda media that’s carrying their water.
It’s time to reject the obstructionist policies of establishment decepticon politicians and get on board making America great again.
