ELDER PATRIOT – The FBI released its notes from their interrogation of Hillary Clinton yesterday. The heavily redacted 58-page document paints an ugly picture of a person who admits to being confused, unable to work more than a few hours a day, and who had no idea how to distinguish classified information from other information. Mrs. Clinton’s own words also reveal that she had little to no administrative skills in organizing and managing the people who worked under her at the State Department.
Mrs. Clinton blamed her inability to recall briefings she received on the handling of sensitive information because of the concussion she suffered more than three years after those briefings had occurred.
According to the FBI, “Clinton said she received no instructions or direction regarding the preservation or production of records from (the) State (Department) during the transition out of her role as Secretary of State in 2013.”
Mrs. Clinton’s feigned ignorance regarding the destruction of records is a slap in the face to every American who would never be given a pass for similarly unlawful behavior. As a seasoned lawyer Mrs. Clinton knows that the destruction of records is unlawful. Even worse, as the head of the State Department it was her job to set the standard for document preservation and not defer those decisions to underlings who clearly only served as lapdogs to Mrs. Clinton.
The report also gave us this stunning admission from Mrs. Clinton, “However, in December of 2012, Clinton suffered a concussion and then around the New Year had a blood clot (in her head). Based on her doctor’s advice, she could only work at State for a few hours a day and could not recall every briefing she received.”
Donald Trump may have been impolite calling Hillary Clinton “low energy” but the fact is she is incapable of putting in the long days and critical thinking required of a president and she admitted as much to the FBI.
The report also revealed that Mrs. Clinton had no idea what classified markings were or how to distinguish between different classifications TOP SECRET, SECRET, and CONFIDENTIAL. She even admitted that she “did not pay attention to the level of classification.”
Finally, even the Washington Post admitted Hillary Clinton showed poor leadership from the outset of her tenure as Secretary of State:
“Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her staffers employed an informal and sometimes haphazard system for exchanging and storing sensitive information and were at times either unaware of unconcerned with State Department policy.”
This reckless and unlawful culture was fostered by Mrs. Clinton immediately after she took control at Foggy Bottom in 2009 while she supposedly had full control of her faculties. She didn’t suffer her head injury until 2012. Her excuses just aren’t supported by the facts.
Frankly, for the position she now seeks there are no excuses for destructive foreign policy (the Middle East,) selling U.S. assets to unfriendly foreign governments (uranium to Russia or nuclear secrets to China,) or the destruction of records (Richard Nixon.)
Mrs. Clinton aspires to be the president of the United States but is incapable of pointing to a single accomplishment during her forty plus years in public life, as though a single accomplishment would be enough to balance her record as Secretary of State.
The revelations from Mrs. Clinton’s emails reveal one common thread. Mrs. Clinton gets richer, her “associates” get richer, and the “people” get screwed.
What does it say about the elected officials and other members of the Democratic Party that this is the person they put forward as their nominee? And, what does it reveal about the #NeverTrump faction of the Republican Party who are willing to hand her the presidency?
