ELDER PATRIOT – Many foolish people have convinced themselves that the Republican controlled
Senate and Congress would work with Donald Trump to straighten out the mess that threatens our national security.
All the smiles and doubletalk can’t hide the fact that there is are Republican leaders – Paul Ryan, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Marco Rubio, among a number of others – who are working behind the scenes to undermine the president’s efforts to protect us from the threat of radical Islamic terror.
These globalist-supporters are using Senate intransigence and judicial overreach to block Trump’s initiative for as long as they can.
The Deep State is now focusing its attention towards slow playing the confirmation of Trump’s nominee for the Supreme Court, Neil Gorsuch for as long as possible.
While it is highly unlikely there is the political will to reject the confirmation of such an immensely well qualified candidate, it is becoming clear that the effort will be made to delay it as long as possible so that the lower courts can continue their assault on President Trump’s Executive Orders, as well as to keep him from sitting in judgment on the cases currently scheduled before the court.
This strategy became clear yesterday when a liberal attorney won a temporary nationwide restraining order Friday stopping President Trump’s executive order banning citizens of seven countries from entering the United States.
The ruling, if upheld on appeal, would effectively mean that the judiciary has usurped the president of powers that had previously been conferred upon him by both the Constitution and through legislative initiative.
The seizure of this kind of power is the Deep State’s greatest wish since it would eliminate all power citizens currently enjoy through the electoral process.
If the Supremes split 4-4 on upholding or rejecting this ruling, the lower court’s ruling becomes the “law of the land” and effectively means open borders are here to stay.
This is why the Senate will use every parliamentary procedure in the book to block Gorsuch from hearing this case.
It’s almost unfathomable to consider that a lower court judge who almost no one ever heard of can set immigration and security policy while the popularly elected president is stripped of those powers.
Can you imagine George Soros being any happier with this prospect?
