China Ramps Up Tensions With U.S. PLA Fires ‘Aircraft-Carrier Killer’ Missile as Warning to America… Part of Ongoing Effort to Elect Joe Biden?

There’s little question that China prefers to be dealing with Joe Biden come January 20th.

This was recently confirmed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during an appearance on CNN where she publicly admitted that she is aware of China’s preference for ‘China Joe’, a nickname given to him by President Trump.

Apparently with some reason…

While he was vice president,  Biden allowed China to expand their presence (and control) over the South China Sea whose sea lanes are critical to the commerce of virtually every nation in the region.

According to numerous credible reports, Biden’s son was the recipient of a $1.5 Billion loan for his hedge fund.  The son, Hunter Biden, had no previous experience in managing a hedge fund.

Was a quid pro quo at the center of then-VP Biden’s reckless ignorance of the national security ramifications of China’s military expansionism to both the United States and our regional Asean partner countries?

To the contrary, President Trump is no favorite of the communist Chinese government.

Beginning with a marathon Asean tour in November 2017, President Trump structurally reset the entire landscape of a U.S-China trade relationship.  President Trump quietly and methodically laid the groundwork with personal visits to: Prime Minister Shinzo Abe (Japan); President Moon Jae-in (S-Korea); President Tran Dai Quang (Vietnam); and President Rodrigo Duerte (Philippines).

Trump’s mission was to lessen US dependence on China and eventually decouple our reliance on the communist state.

The US and China have been doing a cat and mouse dance ever since.  As Trump rebuilt the US economy and began looking like a shoo-in for reelection China accepted a trade deal that they had no intentions of honoring.

With Beijing’s economy suffering due to new US trade ties with countries other than China, a deadly virus was unleashed on the world.  Coincidence?  Maybe, maybe not.

This morning,  the South China Morning Post reported that China launched two missiles, including an “aircraft-carrier killer”, into the South China Sea on Wednesday morning, sending a clear warning to the United States.”

According to an official release, the move came in retaliation one day after China said a US U-2 spy plane entered a no-fly zone without permission during a Chinese live-fire naval drill in the Bohai Sea off its north coast.

The CCP has no intention of engaging the superior firepower of the US military.  But, they also know that by escalating the optics the pro-Biden, pro-China American media will be able to craft a few headlines that may help Joe Biden’s flagging campaign.

Are these ‘interventions’ by China just coincidences or is China interfering in the 2020 presidential election in a way that makes Russia’s involvement in 2016 look benign?

In March, mostly left-leaning ProPublica published the results of an investigation into the Chinese Communist Party’s effort to control public opinion in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic that originated in Wuhan, China.

The report found the CCP’s efforts to be an order of magnitude staggeringly larger than the alleged, and since disproved, interference by Russia in the 2016 election.

(ProPublica) Since August 2019, ProPublica has tracked more than 10,000 suspected fake Twitter accounts involved in a coordinated influence campaign with ties to the Chinese government. Among those are the hacked accounts of users from around the world that now post propaganda and disinformation about the coronavirus outbreak, the Hong Kong protests and other topics of state interest…

Will anyone at the DOJ connect the dots?  Or, will it be left to voters to do the math?
