Calling Dr. Fauci… While Fauci Told Us There Was Nothing to Worry About, Trump’s Trade Adviser Peter Navarro Warned of Coming Pandemic…

January 21, 2020…

This is not a major threat to the citizens of the United States

A week later, in another area of the White House, trade adviser Peter Navarro sent a late January memo warning that the coronavirus could cost the United States trillions without a travel ban on China.

(Breitbart) Navarro called for an immediate travel ban on China in the memo, dated January 29, that predicted a coronavirus pandemic would cost the United States over $3.8 trillion.

The details of the memo, which was first reported by the New York Times on Monday evening and later published in full by Axios, was addressed to the National Security Council just days before the president enacted his travel ban on China.

“The clear dominant strategy is an immediate travel ban on China,” Navarro wrote, noting the virus could cost as many as half a million American lives.

Navarro’s memo argued the financial cost of a travel ban with China would be minimal compared to the cost of doing nothing.

Donald Trump enacted his travel ban two days later, on January 31.

The response from the leadership of the left was typically derisive… and irresponsible.

(Fox News) In response to the travel ban, Schumer tweeted on Feb. 5, “The premature travel ban to and from China by the current administration is just an excuse to further his ongoing was against immigrants. There must be a check and Balance (sic) on these restrictions.”

When the president acted, there were only six cases of the virus in the United States and no deaths. Dr. Anthony Fauci, one of America’s most prominent authorities on infectious diseases, said at the time: “We still have a low risk to the American public, but we want to keep it at a low risk; [there] are so many unknowns here.”

So, even the man who finally figured out AIDS thought the coronavirus was “low risk.”

Longtime China watcher Gordon Chang of the Gatestone Institute said that we need something akin to the Nuremberg Trials for “crimes against humanity” regarding the global coronavirus outbreak.

Chang: There does need to be a Nuremberg Trial for Chinese leaders because they have committed a crime against humanity, because if this is not a crime against humanity, then what is?”

“The world needs to get justice.  We need justice for the Americans that we’ve lost and will lose, and we need justice for other people around the world.

It’s a Nuremberg Trial. It’s Guantanamo. It’s a visit forever to Florence Colorado Supermax. I don’t care what it is, but we’ve got to take the Chinese leaders off the streets and make sure that they do face justice of one sort or another.”

That would be a great start but on November 11, 2016 we wrote that the enemy within was even a greater threat…

After World War II, the crimes of the Third Reich were so egregious and caused so much pain that the world was allowed to watch as one by one they were brought to justice through trials held in Nuremberg in what amounted to a public cleansing.

We need the same cleansing today.  If the criminal activity is limited to the Clintons then we need to know that to restore faith in our government.  If the extent of the criminal enterprise crosses party lines then those involved must be exposed as well so that we can begin purging those who no longer deserve the public’s faith.

Any politician who would vote against such a public airing should be held suspect, as well.

At the same time that we were writing that, Jerrold Nadler was already calling for Trump’s removal…
