ELDER PATRIOT – The New York Post criticized President Donald Trump for repeating “a widely debunked claim on Monday during his first White House meeting with congressional leaders, where he insisted that 3 million to 5 million illegal immigrants voted in the election, stealing the popular vote from him and giving it to Hillary Clinton.”
Really? Let’s examine two facts that we know about only one state, California. The California vote total wasn’t scrutinized because it was reported in the early morning hours well after Trump had been assured of the Electoral College votes he needed to secure the presidency. By then it was irrelevant but that doesn’t mean that it wasn’t deliberately altered to create a foundation for the narrative that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote.
“Officially,” Hillary Clinton won California by over 4 million votes. The final tally was Clinton 8,753,788 votes while Trump garnered 4,483,810 votes.
That just doesn’t square with an IGS-UC Berkeley poll reported yesterday that shows 74 percent of Californians want the end of sanctuary cities. Even 65 percent of Hispanics are opposed to continuing the unlawful and costly policy that rogue leaders of the state’s largest cities have pledged to continue. They join 70 percent of independents, 73 percent of Democrats and 82 percent of Republicans in opposition.
Even with the highest taxes in America, and the incredible revenue generators in Silicon Valley and Hollywood, Californians are facing mounting budget shortfalls well into the future.
Add the presence of criminal gangs like MS-13 and the elevated threat level to law-abiding native Californians that they and other illegal immigrants bring with them and we’re supposed to believe that two out of every three Californians voted to continue these policies by voting for Hillary Clinton.
If you believe this I have a bridge to sell you. Let’s hope Donald Trump keeps up the charges so that something might be done to curtail it in the future. We almost lost our republic because of voter fraud.
