Ol’ Joe Biden has been around Washington too long. As we all know, history repeats itself.
So the longer you’re around the kabuki theater that is DC politics, the more likely you are to be caught up in the partisan lynchings you took part in during other political skirmishes.
As vice president during the confirmation hearings of President Trump’s nominee to fill the Supreme Court vacancy, Brett Kavanaugh, Biden felt compelled to offer his take on Christine Blasey-Ford’s allegations that Kavanaugh molested her.
He should have kept his mouth shut.
Biden now stands accused by former staffer Tara Reade that then-Senator Biden sexually assaulted her.
A recently resurfaced video of former Vice President Joe Biden now exposes the hypocrisy of his response to Reade’s allegations…
Biden: “A Supreme Court hearing is not a trial. It’s a job interview. It’s a job interview. And you don’t have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt anything.”
(Washington Free Beacon) Biden himself said of Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations: “For a woman to come forward in the glaring lights of focus, nationally, you’ve got to start off with the presumption that at least the essence of what she’s talking about is real, whether or not she forgets facts, whether or not it’s been made worse or better over time.”
This is the opening that party leaders were waiting for in order to move forward with plans to remove Biden from the ballot.
Worried about the former vice president’s obvious cognitive impairment, the allegations of corruption swirling around his handling of foreign policy, and his tanking poll numbers, party elders are beginning to lay the groundwork for his removal.
