Elder Patriot – With a confrontation between ANTIFA and the right-wing groups, including the Proud Boys, seeming to be unavoidable later today, President Trump says that he will be keeping a close eye on Portland, Oregon later today.
“Portland is being watched very closely. Hopefully the Mayor will be able to properly do his job!”
Members of far-right groups, including the Proud Boys, plan to rally in Portland Saturday.
Masked members of the local Rose City Antifa, billed as “the nation’s oldest active anti-fascist group” and known for its use of violent tactics in street confrontations, say they will battle them.
According to reports, the Portland police arrested Patriot Prayer’s Joey Gibson in an attempt to diffuse the pending conflict.
The arrest of Gibson is somewhat puzzling, but it does reveal city leader’s determination to protect the far-left ANTIFA disruptors that appear to have been granted immunity from their criminal assaults by those same leaders.
Reportedly, Gibson had no involvement in planning Saturday’s event but was arrested as a precaution because he organized similar rallies the past two years that erupted in clashes with the police-protected ANTIFA.
By contrast, Portland police have made no arrests in the attack on Andy Ngo despite video evidence making the identification of his attackers easy. Ngo suffered a brain hemorrhage from the assault.

In case you’re wondering, Portland is in Multnomah County.
