Joe Biden is nothing if not a disingenuous politician.
The former Vice President, around whom charges of being a key player in a massive pay-to-play scheme are swirling, had been maintaining that he would not respond to a Senate subpoena during the impeachment trial of President Trump if one were issued.
(Breitbart) During an interview with the Des Moines Register on Friday, 2020 Democratic presidential candidate former Vice President Joe Biden stated that if he was subpoenaed to testify at the Senate’s impeachment trial, he would not comply, and that if he testified it would create a “diversion” that would allow President Trump to “get away.”
Biden explained that he wouldn’t testify “because it’s all designed to deal with Trump doing what he’s done his whole life, trying to take the focus off him. The issue is not what I did. Not a single person, not one single person, even that thug Giuliani and his [unintelligible] compatriots have said I did anything other than my job. … This is all about a diversion.”

To the contrary, that “thug Giuliani,” is Rudy Giuliani is a highly-respected RICO prosecutor who recognizes a criminal conspiracy when he comes across one.
I don’t know what world Biden is living in but in ain’t the real world:
Biden is so used to having the mainstream media cover for him that he lies with the surety of a man who owns the media narrative.
Rudy has been investigating Democrats’ corruption and collusion with equally nefarious players in Ukraine for longer than two years. While Biden was Obama’s point man in the region, Giuliani has been forthcoming that the corruption extended far beyond Biden.
If I were Biden, with as much as he has to hide, I wouldn’t want to be put under oath to face questions from Giuliani either.
Then boom, Biden turns on a dime and we wake up this morning to learn he’s now agreeing to testify is subpoenaed.
(NY Post) After declaring he would refuse to comply with a subpoena in President Trump’s impeachment trial, Joe Biden backtracked and said he would testify if hauled before Senate lawmakers.
So what changed Joe’s mind? Republican Senators, specifically Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham, essentially let Joe off the hook.
(Conservative Treehouse) “I’m going to tell the president, ‘no,’ to his witnesses request” when the articles of impeachment reach the Senate.
Senator Graham wants a quick presentation of the articles of impeachment by the House managers; a quick defense against the charges by President Trump’s lawyers; and then an immediate vote on the articles without hearing from witnesses.
Imagine that, one side of the UniParty protecting the other side. Why does that surprise no one anymore?
