Barack Obama has returned to his roots as street organizer and angrily struck out at President Trump this week:
Who are we? What kind of politics do we want to see? What kind of accountability do we expect from our elected officials?
Without financial accountability there is no accountability.
But what we have not seen before, in our recent public life at least, is politicians just blatantly, repeatedly, baldly, shamelessly, lying!
Making stuff up.
Calling up down.
WAT? Men are considered women simply by saying that’s how they identify?
Calling black white.
The president said he’d pass a middle-class tax cut before the next election.
Maybe Trump’s first round of tax cuts weren’t as generous to the middle-class but they accomplished something much more important – they restored opportunity and with it rebuilt pride and families.
Congress isn’t even in session. He just makes it up.
Kinda like Obama did?
He says “I’m going to protect your pre-existing conditions” while his Justice Department is in court right now trying to strike down those protections.
It’s hard to know who’s running the Department of Justice after Obama weaponized it against Trump.
That is not spin, that’s not exaggeration, that’s not trying to put a positive glow on things. That’s lying.
All Republicans support people with pre-existing conditions, and if they don’t, they will after I speak to them. I am in total support. Also, Democrats will destroy your Medicare, and I will keep it healthy and well!

I’ve gotta believe that there are certain things that transcend party. And, that whatever your political background, I’m hoping that you think it is wrong to hear people spend years, months vilifying people, questioning their patriotism, calling them enemies of the people and then suddenly you’re concerned about civility.
