ELDER PATRIOT – For those of us who have been around since it first took off we knew that the feminist movement would cease to be relevant once women’s place in business had been equalized. After that it would be just a matter of time before the day came that smart beautiful women realized that the feminist movement was a vehicle to make ugly and angry women relevant.
That day has been coming and finally MNSBC shill Joan Walsh’s trashing of Ivanka Trump has made it oh so obvious.
Walsh was speaking for what remains of post-modern feminists when she let rip this verbal assault on Ivanka Trump for no apparent reason other than Trump’s style, beauty and grace:
…with big bows on her sleeves. I don’t mean to sound sexist it can be dangerous to comment on what women wear, but the fact that she sat in for her father in a dress that was so incredibly ornamental was such a contradiction in terms. And I think what we see “In patriarchal, authoritarian societies, daughters have great value; they are property. And the message that she’s sending about her own value, about her place in the White House, and about the place of women in this administration, I think are really frightening.”
“It’s a pink dress with big bows on the elbows. There’s something incredibly ornamental…that’s not a dress that’s made for work. That is not a dress that’s made to go out in the world and make a difference. That is a dress that is designed to show off your girlyness. God bless her, show it off, but don’t then tell us that you’re crusading for an equal place for women at the table, because you’re not.”
Walsh’s comments highlight the irreparable fracture that has taken place between the leaders of today’s feminist movement and the beautiful, smart and accomplished young women who have freed them selves from the bonds that the post-modern feminists have evolved into.
Where feminism was once about providing women with the opportunity to achieve equally with – or even to surpass – their male counterparts, today it requires being dowdy and asexual or homosexual to be revered as this picture from the G-20 that spawned Walsh’s comments spurred:
Well, American women are just not having anymore of it. Feminism began as the movement that empowered women to make their own choices which goes a long way towards explaining why 53% of women voted for Donald Trump. Clearly Ivanka Trump proves what a young girl relying on the tutelage of Donald Trump can grow up to become.
Unfortunately for today’s feminists beauty is to be eschewed unless it applies to boy toys like Canada’s Trudeau or France’s Macron.
Women beautiful and stylish women are realizing that and their support for Trump would appear to be growing if the Internet is any indication.

And, this one of far-left progressive Lena Dunham:
Just as smart black folk have distanced themselves from the hateful and destructive messages from Black Lives Matter, so are women distancing themselves from the hateful and destructive messages coming from post-modern feminism.
Ultimately we all want the same thing, don’t we? Don’t we all want one big beautiful, prosperous and accomplished country?
