Elder Patriot – What if there is evidence, real evidence that there was a group that plotted to steal the election for one candidate over another? And, what if that group wasn’t Russian hackers but another, much more technologically advanced, group of Internet experts intent on ending American sovereignty for their own nefarious purposes?
Would Democrats still be as intent on seeing those guilty of “collusion” frog walked out of their offices? We may soon find out.
Yesterday, Jeff Sessions announced the opening of the investigation into Uranium One in order to determine whether there is enough evidence to warrant the naming of a special prosecutor. Oh, and Eric Schmidt stepped down as Executive Chairman of Alphabet.
What does one have to do with the other? Read on.
As we wrote yesterday even an amateur investigator, given the broad latitude that Special Counsel Robert Mueller was given, will find enough evidence to bring down both Clintons, every significant member of the Obama administration, as well as hundreds of their associates, including members of Congress and the Titans of Silicon Valley.
It is those Silicon Valley Elite whose intrusion into our electoral process made what we know about the Russians seem trivial. So far the only real evidence that has surfaced regarding Russian interference was the $100,000 they spent on advertising with social media that was determined not to have favored one candidate or the other in any significant way.
Compare that to Google under the guidance of Eric Schmidt whose thumb on the scales was worth hundreds of millions of dollars, or more.
Under Schmidt’s guidance, Google, Inc., didn’t just become the world’s biggest purveyor of information; it also became the world’s biggest censor. And, therein lies the problem. When you use Google, Eric Schmidt and his minions decide what you get to see. And they used that to the advantage of Hillary’s campaign.
By manipulating the rankings of search results Google has the power to ruin businesses. The European Courts fined Google $9 billion for doing exactly that in Europe where they favored their shopping service over that of their European competitors.
Significantly, the court determined that Google’s distorted results damaged not just the company’s competitors but their customers as well.
And, therein lies the real damage that Schmidt, and the other tech titans were almost successful in doing to the integrity of our election.
The same methodologies that Google used to manipulate its control over search results for favored, or disfavored, businesses was used during the run-up to the 2016 presidential election to affect people’s opinions, attitudes, beliefs and behaviors.
This is not just a wild assertion by a Donald Trump supporter. It’s founded in factual evidence that Google not only has the power to do these things but that has, and continues to, engage in such practices.
Robert Epstein, writing for US News, presents a detailed and well-documented piece on how Google has used its muscle in illegal ways. Epstein categorized Google’s nefarious business and political practices into nine different areas.
Those practices were not limited to burying access to websites they determined to be detrimental to Hillary Clinton. Google also used that power to promote websites whose narratives and content Schmidt approved of, websites extolling Clinton and critical of Donald Trump.
Evidence of Google’s reprehensible practices under Schmidt have become the subject of lawsuits, most notable an April 2016 ruling by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
The court gave the go ahead to the attorney general of Mississippi – with the support of the attorneys general of 40 other states –to proceed with broad discovery requests in his own investigations into Google’s secretive and often arbitrary practices.
When Google wasn’t labeling websites critical of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama as Fake News, Google was optimizing the search engine results for websites that contained content favorable to Hillary Clinton and that ignored, or alibied for, her criminal behavior.
Google wasn’t the only Tech Titan to uses its might to affect the 2016 election. “Several former Facebook “news curators,” as they were known internally, told Gizmodo that they were instructed to artificially “inject” selected stories into the trending news module, even if they weren’t popular enough to warrant inclusion—or in some cases weren’t trending at all.”
“Facebook workers [also] routinely suppressed news stories of interest to conservative readers from the social network’s influential “trending” news section, according to a former journalist who worked on the project. This individual says that workers prevented stories about the right-wing CPAC gathering, Mitt Romney, Rand Paul, and other conservative topics from appearing in the highly-influential section, even though they were organically trending among the site’s users.”
The fact that these Silicon Valley tech giants weren’t Russians should have no bearing on the legal implications of their actions. Both Schmidt and Zuckerberg, and other tech co-conspirators, were and remain fiercely loyal Globalists far more focused on advancing the policies of the United Nations, no matter to what extent those policies damaged the interests of the American taxpayer.
Schmidt and Facebook’s Zuckerberg’s collusion with foreign interests to influence the election, along with those who knowingly accepted their help, demands that they be held accountable. After all, isn’t that what Democrats and their enablers in the mainstream media have been demanding all along?
