Those Who Trusted Lindsey Graham Are Predictably Going to be Let Down

(Politico) Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) plans to hand the chairmanship of the Senate Judiciary Committee back to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa.) in the next Congress.  Graham took over the panel this year from Grassley, who left to chair the Senate Finance Committee.

Despite promising to hold the Deep State coup plotters accountable, Graham’s committee has done nothing in the ten months and his tenure.

What gives?  Was Graham’s ascension to the chairmanship of, what is arguably, the Senate’s most powerful counter to House Democrats’ impeachment scam, a pre-planned firewall to protect corrupt members of the Uniparty?

During the 2016 campaign, strategist Alex Castellanos was asked, if he were running strategy for those wanting to take Trump down, what he would recommend:

“The best way to do it is how Brutus killed Caesar. Get real close, snuggle up, and shiv him in the ribs. In other words, hug the message but not the messenger.

Ask yourself, why isn’t Chairman Graham’s Senate Judiciary Committee receiving testimony from the same Deep Staters that are parading through Adam Schiff’s committee?  Except with full sunlight on national TV?

Ya can complain about the lack of transparency in the hearings being conducted in secrecy by the Shiftless one, but when you have the same opportunity to expose the corruption of it all, and you sit on your hands doing nothing…

… There’s only so long that you can avoid employing your own power before being viewed as complicit in the scam impeachment process.

When taking the measure of Lindsey Graham, always remember this exchange between journalist Tom Ricks and John McCain:

Ricks: “Is there anybody else in Congress interested in defense issues besides you?”

McCain: “Lindsey Graham, of course!”

Ricks: “Well, that’s your ‘mini-me.’ “

Graham: “My illegitimate son, Lindsey Graham.”
