ELDER PATRIOT – Khizr Khan, the Muslim Four-Star Father whose son Capt. Humayun was killed by the same Islamic radicals Donald Trump is proposing we deny entry into the United States, is only the latest proof that Democrats have a death wish and they are intent on imposing it on the rest of us.
In the eleven days since Khan regaled us with his false interpretation of the Constitution, that sounded strikingly similar to Paul Ryan’s defense of unfettered immigration from the Middle East, there have been no less than 21 terror attacks conducted in the name of Islam.
Just for the record, there is no Constitutional right of foreigners to enter the United States. If there were Mr. Khan as a seasoned lawyer would have recited it to us rather than simply waving a pocket Constitution at the adoring sycophants in the Wells Fargo Center.
Since Khizr Khan spewed his lies in support of Muslim immigration 146 innocent people have been murdered and another 146 injured by Islamist radicals. But in fairness we should not call him out for the murders committed by Islamic radicals that took place subsequent to his speech. It is, however, appropriate to ask what was the backdrop during the three weeks when he was crafting his message?
Over the 21-day period when Khan was crafting his message of deception, Muslim miscreants committed 117 attacks that killed at least 907 and injured another 1,513 innocent people.
Since the first World Trade Center attack 3,125 Americans have been murdered and another 1,751 innocent U.S. citizens have been injured by Muslim killers on U.S. soil alone.
When Khizr Khan finds the rights of foreigners to enter the United States in the Constitution he should share it with us rather than wave his pocket version in our collective faces while lying to us. As a lawyer he knows the Constitution confers no such protection to non-citizens that is why he resorted to pounding the table rather than the facts.
So, let’s put the Islamist threat into perspective. In the 13½ years since the Iraq war began 14 U.S. Muslims have died fighting on our side in the Middle East. That’s one more than the number of American soldiers that a single Muslim army psychiatrist slaughtered at Fort Hood while shouting praise be to Allah. Another thirty-one other American soldiers were injured in Nidal Malik Hasan’s rampage.
Since 2003, there have been at least 193,479 innocent people murdered worldwide at the hands of Islamic terrorists and another 271,014 injured in those attacks.
Here at home, Nidal Hasan is hardly the only homegrown radical Islamist we have to worry about.
According to a 2014 report in the New York Daily News, the link to which has since been scrubbed, NYPD’s terror chief. John Miller was quoted as saying, “More than 100 young home-grown Muslims, including some from Gotham, are being trained to become an enemy within by Al Qaeda-inspired groups like ISIS.” When asked about the probability that this posed a threat to the homeland Miller responded that he “would be hyper-concerned.”
So exactly how have Muslims enriched our shared experience as Americans?
Facing threats from American-born Islamic radicals, why would any clear-thinking patriot suggest exponentially compounding the threat by importing hundreds of thousands of potentially radicalized Muslims from Syria and the surrounding countries?
CIA Director John Brennan warned Congress that ISIS’ would be aggressively infiltrating any group of Muslim refugees we welcomed to our country:

Common sense dictates that public policy should be crafted for the benefit of the greatest number of American citizens and not for non-citizen refugee wannabes.
Common sense has never been on the Democrat agenda when it came to other issues and once again it takes a backseat to other concerns. When trying to understand Democrat intent always follow the money trail. That is true in this case with Khizr Khan as well.
According to FrontPage Mag, Khizr Khan’s is an attorney with deep ties to Saudi Arabia:
Intelius records that Khizr Khan has worked at Hogan Lovells Llp. According to the Washington Free Beacon, “Hogan Lovells LLP, another U.S. firm hired by the Saudis, is registered to work for the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia through 2016, disclosures show. Robert Kyle, a lobbyist from the firm, has bundled $50,850 for Clinton’s campaign.”
The Free Beacon added that the Saudi government has “supplied the Clinton Foundation with millions. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has given between $10 and $25 million to the foundation while Friends of Saudi Arabia has contributed between $1 and $5 million.”
And so we were treated to the spectacle of an employee of a firm that is registered to work for the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia lambasting Donald Trump at the Democratic National Convention, and then (lo and behold!) becoming a media darling as he excoriates Trump for his “black soul.”
Might the government of Saudi Arabia, which has spent countless billions of dollars spreading the virulent and violent Wahhabi strain of Islam around the world, have any interest in making sure that a presidential candidate who speaks more forthrightly about the Islamic terror threat than any presidential candidate has since John Quincy Adams, and who has vowed to take concrete steps to counter that threat, is defeated? Is that why Khizr Khan, brimming with self-righteous indignation and misleading disinformation about the relationship of Islamic jihad terrorism to Islam, was not only featured at the Democratic National Convention but has dominated the news cycle ever since?
The big story of foreign influence in this presidential election is not some vague imaginings about the Russians supposedly hacking Democratic National Committee emails showing the Democrats engaged in indisputably unethical behavior. The real foreign influence story in this election involves the Saudis and the Democrats. Saudi influence in Washington must end. Khizr Khan represents an all-out effort by the mainstream media and the Democratic Party establishment to maintain that influence.
It’s time for Americans to tell Khizr Khan to shut up. He has no role in our election other than as a Saudi representative. His son might’ve died in a noble cause but Khizr Khan is nothing more than a political opportunist trying to guilt Americans into voting for their own demise.
