Speaker Ryan Swears to Oppose Trump on Protecting America

ELDER PATRIOT – As a leader in the Globalist movement, House Speaker Paul Ryan is fundamentally opposed to Donald Trump’s “America First” agenda.  Today, because of their differences he  declared war on his party’s presidential nominee.  In the process, he declared war on everyday Americans by promising to oppose any and every common sense proposal to keep Americans safe.

Yesterday CIA Director John Brennan addressed the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence where he said:

Unfortunately, despite all our progress against ISIL on the battlefield and in the financial realm, our efforts have not reduced the group’s terrorism capability and global reach.  The resources needed for terrorism are very modest, and the group would have to suffer even heavier losses of territory, manpower, and money for its terrorist capacity to decline significantly.

Moreover, the group’s foreign branches and global networks can help preserve its capacity for terrorism regardless of events in Iraq and Syria. In fact, as the pressure mounts on ISIL, we judge that it will intensify its global terror campaign to maintain its dominance of the global terrorism agenda.

Translation:  ISIL will ramp up Orlando style terror attacks because they are cheap and effective.  A similar attack in Kabul barely warrants a mention on the nightly news.  The Orlando attack has had 24-hour coverage for close to a week with no end in sight.

Director Brennan went on to say:

“We judge that ISIL is training and attempting to deploy operatives for further attacks. ISIL has a large cadre of Western fighters who could potentially serve as operatives for attacks in the West.  And the group is probably exploring a variety of means for infiltrating operatives into the West.

What is Speaker Ryan’s response to such threats, especially CIA Director Brennan’s warning of the prospect of ISIL operatives infiltrating our institutions?  He promises to oppose any reasonable action to prevent or limit that possibility regardless of the risk to the people of the United States and to members of our military.

When two Republican lawmakers brought forth a measure to ban the recruitment of illegal aliens for military service Speaker Ryan led the opposition to it.  Our boys may be lucky if they suffer only another Fort Hood shooting spree in the name of Allah.  The worst scenario might find an entire military unit being exposed at a critical juncture putting them all at risk.  Perhaps another entire SEAL team will be wiped out because of this stupidity.

The Speaker also declared that he will “sue” future President Trump with the hope that a court would prevent him from placing a temporary ban on Muslim immigration.  Trump has said he would ban immigration from certain regions until an accommodation is reached that assures the safety of Americans.

Ryan cited the 1952 Immigration and Nationality Act as the basis for legal action.  But, a reading of the act clearly gives the president broad discretionary powers with regards to halting immigration:

“Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate…”

Whatever Paul Ryan’s agenda is one thing is certain he doesn’t give a wit about you or your children.

Trump saw this coming and last night told his opponents within the Republican Party to join with him in leading, follow along, or get out of the way.  He was aiming his comments directly at Speaker Ryan.

The war is on for the soul of the Republican Party.  Will it become the party that George H.W. Bush headed when he called a New World Order the fight for which Ryan (along with Obama and Hillary Clinton) are now leading, or will Trump be able to return the Republican Party to its America First roots?

For the Republican Party this may well be a war to the death.
