Something Stinks About Mueller Sexual Assault Story

Elder Patriot – It must be nice to be able to rely on a compliant media to take your back when you’ve been the victim of sexual assault allegations.  That’s a question to ask special counsel Robert Mueller.

According to a report on CNBC:

The special counsel’s office confirmed to CNBC that it learned about the “scheme” from journalists who had been approached by a woman alleging that she had been offered $20,000 by Burkman “to make accusations of sexual misconduct and workplace harassment against Robert Mueller.”

To the average American it should be troubling to consider that members of the mainstream media extended such courtesy to the special counsel.  It’s a far cry from the way they treated President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

We make no pretense that the accusation(s), if indeed there are any, are/is credible in any way.  But, it’s a sure bet that if there is an accuser she (or they) will present at least as much evidence as Christine Ford had, and almost assuredly more.

By the Left’s new standard that women never, ever lie about these things, it would be violative of the standard set by Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee recently established, if a full investigation into Mueller’s complete life history isn’t immediately undertaken.

Even if it turns up nothing, it clears Mueller and preserves his integrity.  Even more importantly, it sends a message to every accuser that Due Process governs, and not wild unproven accusations.

If the statute of limitations hasn’t run out when the investigation is concluded, perhaps Christine Ford can be held to account, as well.

As for Mueller, wouldn’t it be nice if this nudged him to abandon his baseless Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy theory?

Don’t hold your breath.  Swamp scum flows in one direction.
