Elder Patriot – A second Republican congressman has seen enough evidence to call for the criminal prosecution of the FBI and DOJ officials named in the four-page memo compiled by the House Intelligence Committee and released last Friday.
Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) announced his belief that multiple federal laws were broken in a statement he released via Twitter:
Gosar didn’t pull any punches:
He accused those who signed the FISA application with full knowledge that they were making false attestations to the FISC of treason.
Gosar said he “will leading a letter to the Attorney General seeking criminal prosecution against these traitors to our nation.” Gosar names who he considers to be co-conspirators and traitors:
- Former FBI Director James Comey
- Former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe
- Former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates
- Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein
He didn’t stop there. He let “those members of Congress who fought so hard to keep the truth from the American public” know that they would be made to answer for protecting those who corrupted these sacred organizations.
Gosar comments were primarily directed at Congressional Democrats but he also singled out Arizona Senator Jeff Flake for having joined with them in trying to obscure the criminal conspiracy that took place to unseat a duly elected president.
Gosar appeared on Fox News’ America’s News HQ to explain why every American should be outraged over the recent revelations contained in the HPSCI memo:
Gosar said the violators must be held accountable. While he specifically named Comey, McCabe, Yate, and Rosenstein it’s hard to see hold Obama’s Attorney General Loretta Lynch didn’t make that list.
Gosar told the audience that “This was a premeditated attack on a political opponent, and we can’t have that happening. People have to pay for that.”
He also raised the likelihood that this would prove to be just the “tip of the iceberg” of the various agencies that were turned into political weapons that we predicted was going to be the case back in December after Judicial Watch revealed the evidence that should’ve been exposed by Congress back then.
Because of the likely ramifications that would result from giving the criminal co-conspirators a “walk” despite having committed these felonies I will reiterate the warning that I wrote in an earlier column:
Keep in mind what these abuses mean to the application of equal justice for every American. Joseph Stalin employed Lavrentiy Beria as Marshal of the Soviet Union and state security administrator, chief of the Soviet security and secret police apparatus.
Beria was not a man to be questioned. He also was a man who said fondly:
“Show me the man and I’ll find you the crime.”
Stalin was intent on establishing a socialist utopia in Russia. To accomplish this he forced millions of people from the countryside to the cities (UN Agenda 21?) and had an estimated three million political enemies executed, exiled or imprisoned in gulags.
Every American who cherishes their First Amendment protection should be concerned that ill-gotten warrant to spy on President Trump was not a one-off occurrence. The Obama administration had applied for and received a reported 30,000 spy warrants for Americans – like you and me.
Just as the IRS was used by Obama to target political enemies we must know if the Department of Justice was equally corrupted. And if it was, the offenders must be prosecuted.
During the presidential campaign Donald Trump warned audiences that the 2016 election could be the last election that mattered. It’s unlikely he knew how right he was.
