Russiagate Deep Throat Surfaces – Who is Bill Priestap?

Elder Patriot – Evidence of the criminal conspiracy that was run from the highest-level officials at the FBI and the DOJ first to prevent the election of, and then to remove Donald Trump from office is being firmly locked down with the help of a modern day Deep Throat.

On Saturday night Chris Stewart, a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) member appeared on Fox News’ Justice with Judge Jeanine Pirro to discuss the committee’s progress.

When Pirro raised the name Bill Priestap, Stewart admitted that “you’re going to be hearing a lot more of that name” before trying to change the subject.

Pirro steered Stewart back to Priestap and said she didn’t like that she’s not hearing his name – that everyone in the entire hierarchy of the FBI had been implicated in this conspiracy except for Priestap.  Why?

Stewart treaded lightly not wanting to divulge any information before its time making it clear that Priestap was being handled differently.  The exchange begins around the 2:20 mark:

Judge Jeanine asked Stewart if the reason we haven’t heard Priestap’s name is because he has been cooperating?  This was somewhere Stewart didn’t want to go:

“Well look, I’m gonna be careful on this because I’m not sure what we can say on this.”

So who is Bill Priestap and why haven’t we heard more about him?

E.W. “Bill” Priestap is the FBI Asst. Director in charge of Counterintelligence.  That made him the immediate supervisor of Peter Strzok.  Or conversely, Strzok reported directly to Priestap.

Strzok is the agent who oversaw the mishandling of the Clinton email case so that Comey could manufacture an excuse to exonerate her.

Strzok was also responsible for running the FBI inquisition trying to manufacture the case that Trump was aligned with Russia.

When the investigation into then candidate Donald Trump began in July 2016, Priestap would’ve been in charge of running it.  It’s unfathomable that Priestap’s boss, James Comey knew everything that Strzok was doing but that Priestap didn’t.

Everything changed on March 20, 2017 when James Comey appeared before Congress and essentially threw Priestap under the bus under questioning from Representative Elise Stefanik:

Rep. Stefanik first established from Comey that in instances like this the FBI would update the DNI, the White House, and Congressional leadership in quarterly briefings.

Stefanik then asked Comey why he hadn’t alerted the DNI, the White House or senior Congressional leadership that they had been investigating Trump until nine months after the investigation had begun Comey answered:

“It was a matter of such sensitivity that we wouldn’t include it in the quarterly briefings.”

When Stefanik asked if that would’ve been his decision to make, Comey hung Priestap out to dry:

“No.  It’s usually the decision of our Counterintelligence Division.”

That might’ve passed right by most people watching the hearings but it didn’t sit well with Bill Priestap who immediately realized that he had just been sacrificed by Comey.

Comey was asking us to believe that he ignored his statutory obligation to alert Congressional leadership based solely on a recommendation of an underling.

Priestap was determined not to let Comey use him as a fall guy for the FBI’s entire upper-level management’s treasonous acts.

It now looks like Priestap decided to flip as soon as he could work out a deal.  From that point on it’s likely he became the primary source for HPSCI investigators.

Priestap had been central to every decision that passed between Strzok and Comey:

  • He would have been the person to authorize Peter Strzok to engage with Christopher Steele over the “Russian Dossier.”
  • His approval was necessary for the underlying investigative process used for both FISA applications (June 2016, and Oct 21st 2016).
  • He would be the person to approve of engaging and then paying Christopher Steele for the Russian Dossier used in their counterintelligence operation and subsequent FISA application.

Without Bill Priestap’s approval the entire Russian/Trump Counterintelligence operation just doesn’t happen.

James Comey’s testimony on March 20th stands as evidence of Priestap’s importance.

Everyone around Priestap has been implicated in this conspiracy by the HPSCI investigation as the following diagram illustrates:

Except for Priestap, himself.  There’s a reason for that.
