VIA| A California-based artist just created a brilliant solution to the threat of radical Islamic terror in the country.
He was inspired by the stunning historical success of these:
So, he focused on the specific threat:
To test the performance and efficacy of the approach, he customized them and then prominently placed them in a couple of places within the Los Angeles area:
The posters have a similar design to pedestrian signs for drivers:
Of course, most traffic signs don’t involve knives and bomb vests:
The results? In the days since these defensive measures were put into use in Culver City, Santa Monica, and Hollywood, there have been no terrorist attacks.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this artist in action. The Independent Journal has followed Sabo’s political campaign:
As far the new anti-terrorism crusade, some residents of L.A. County may still be unprotected. Unfortunately, a few cities have decided to take down the signs:
An individual close to the creator, who has insisted on remaining anonymous – for obvious safety reasons – until every single building, home, and structure in the country is equipped with these signs, said this:
“It’s high time we seriously addressed the threat to Americans. I have no doubt that if implemented nationwide, this new weapon against terror will keep our country safe.”
At this time, there has been no response from the Department of Homeland Security, the F.B.I., or the Defense Department about whether or not they believe these “jihad-free zones” will work to prevent Islamist terror attacks.
