At This Point It May Be More Appropriate to Pity Joe Biden than to Continue Attacking Him For His Blunders

Joe Biden wants to be president.  He’s more likely to be drooling on himself and in adult Depends by 2024.

Granted, trying to distinguish yourself from an opponent who is piling up one success after another is difficult but, my God, not exposing yourself as a hypocritical moron, is important, as well.

(Daily Caller) Former Vice President Joe Biden, who once dismissed ISIS as a threat to the United States, claimed Monday that last weekend’s al-Baghdadi raid was a success despite President Donald Trump’s “ineptitude.”

Biden claimed that the “victory was not due to Donald Trump’s leadership. It happened despite his ineptitude as Commander-in-Chief.”

Even a casual observer could sense this was not the fight Biden should have chosen to use to separate himself from President Trump.

The Obama White House, including then-VP Joe Biden misjudged the danger posed by ISIS when they first referred to ISIS as the “JV team” of Islamic terrorism.

That was debatable when Obama stated the official WH position in 2012:

“The analogy we use around here sometimes, and I think it is accurate, is if a JayVee team puts on Lakers uniforms that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant.

“I think there is a distinction between the capacity and reach of a Bin Laden and a network that is actively planning major terrorist plots against the homeland, versus jihadists who are engaged in various local power struggles and disputes, often sectarian.”

It was no longer debatable by August 2014 after ISIS had taken control of nearly all of Northern Iraq, and had tens of millions of dollars in funding, and state-of-the-art missiles and militia.

In 2014 Defense Secretary Hagel warned that ISIS is more than a traditional terrorist group:

“…better armed, trained, and funded than any recent threat.  “They marry ideology and a sophistication of strategic and tactical military prowess.  They are tremendously well-funded.

“This is beyond anything we have ever seen.”  (H/T Now the End Begins)

But wait, there’s another reason a slightly less moronic presidential candidate would have avoided weighing in on the al-Baghdadi takedown this weekend.

Biden was vice president when the Obama administration ordered the release of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi from Camp Bucca where he had been detained since 2005.

And, Biden stood by silently when Obama armed ISIS hoping the terrorist organization would force Syrian President Bashir Assad to acquiesce toward Obama’s terms and step down.

We’re still not done with Biden’s grossly stupid criticism of President Trump’s successful takedown of al-Baghdadi: (advance to 41:18)

Why would Biden call attention to himself when he knows this tape is floating around of him admitting he was the lone voice who was definitive in telling Obama to scrub the attack that took down Osama Bin Laden?

There’s a reason Joe Biden’s poll numbers are sinking faster than a box of rocks in a pond despite constant cover for his gaffs from the fawning mainstream media.

Unfortunately for Ol’ Joe, he’s even dumber than a box of rocks.
