Picture: Charlottesville Wasn’t About Race

No one knows what goes through the mind of a psychotic killer but one thing is certain, James Fields wasn’t targeting Blacks last Saturday.

If an ordinary picture is worth a thousand words then this one is worth at least a thousand times that:

As the picture reveals, Fields plowed his car into a crowd of predominantly white people.  This puts him in the camp of other ideologically driven terrorists – blacks who shoot cops they’d never met and Islamists who kill other Arabs only because they’re non-Muslims or not Muslim enough.

While these actions qualify as terrorism these radicals are ideologically, not racially motivated.  If one were to accept that Unite the Right is really Unite the White, then there’s just as much evidence to claim that the Antifa movement is anti-white.

Anti-Trump Leftists want nothing more than to turn this into a race war.  That just doesn’t pass the smell test.  In fact, there’s ample evidence that isn’t the case – unless defending the Constitution qualifies as racially divisive.

Thomas Sowell has written extensively how Liberals’ twisting of the Constitution has done more to harm modern blacks than the vestiges of slavery has and he has the statistics to support his observations.

Check out his essay: “A Legacy Of Liberalism” where he cites the fact that;

“If we wanted to be serious about evidence, we might compare where blacks stood a hundred years after the end of slavery with where they stood after 30 years of the liberal welfare state. In other words, we could compare hard evidence on “the legacy of slavery” with hard evidence on the legacy of liberals.

“Despite the grand myth that black economic progress began or accelerated with the passage of the civil rights laws and “war on poverty” programs of the 1960s, the cold fact is that the poverty rate among blacks fell from 87 percent in 1940 to 47 percent by 1960. This was before any of those programs began.

Over the next 20 years, the poverty rate among blacks fell another 18 percentage points, compared to the 40-point drop in the previous 20 years. This was the continuation of a previous economic trend, at a slower rate of progress, not the economic grand deliverance proclaimed by liberals and self-serving black “leaders.”

Nearly a hundred years of the supposed “legacy of slavery” found most black children being raised in two-parent families in 1960. But thirty years after the liberal welfare state found the great majority of black children being raised by a single parent.”

“If we are to go by evidence of social retrogression, liberals have wreaked more havoc on blacks than the supposed “legacy of slavery” they talk about.”

The sad truth is that the Democratic Party was built on racial division and would not exist today without keeping blacks under its control and on the plantation.  This was its strategy when they defended slavery and this is its strategy today as Dems consistently support policies that destroy the black culture.

Jason Kessler, the man who is trying to conflate the most extreme elements of our society with mainstream conservative Constitutionalists under the banner of “Unite the Right,” is a man with a questionable resume, a resume that suggests Kessler is likely to be a Deep State operative charged with undermining President Trump by employing a strategy to defame the president’s supporters.

While being interviewed by Alex Jones, Kessler admitted to voting for Barack Obama and to have supported the Occupy movement.

This is hardly the pedigree of an ideological White Nationalist, and certainly not one of a racist.  Views on the validity of government policies like those mandating affirmative action can evolve and even later anger people.  Views on race don’t.

Kessler claims to have had a revelation in November of 2016.  What convenient timing for Kessler and for the Deep State.

There’s also the question of why the Charlottesville police were ordered to stand down clearing the field for violence to ensue last Saturday.

Around the 4:25 mark of this video Fox News reporter Doug McKelway files the relevant report:

I’m not blaming the police I’m just saying the police could’ve done their job.  I know these guys were following orders.  But, one person got killed and a lot of people got injured.  So I had asked the guy (officer) who was in charge (prior to the two extremist groups meeting for the violent confrontation) ‘where are you going?’  He said we’re leaving.  ‘It’s too dangerous.’  They had a chance to nip this in the bud and they chose not to.”

We now know the police were ordered not to intervene, indicating that a Democratic mayor, working with a Democratic governor, welcomed the violence that would result because they were prepared to control the narrative that would follow.  What other reason could they have for ordering the police to stand down?

Remember, Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe was so opposed to the possibility of Donald Trump carrying Virginia in the 2016 election that he overrode his legislature to give convicts the right to vote.  In other words, there’s not much he wouldn’t do to harm Trump.

Donald Trump ran for president to restore prosperity to the American people.  He is convinced that by restoring the American economy so many of the “social issues” that divide us would disappear because they are a natural result of people competing for resources made scarce by government policy.

His opponents know this too.  That is why they are orchestrating riots based on “social issues” before Trump is successful and it is too late for them to put the austerity genie back in the bottle.
