MSM FREAKOUT: Forced to Address Existence of “So-Called” Deep State

ELDER PATRIOT – The mainstream media has served as the filter for the way the news is presented to the public for longer than most Americans have been alive.  That power was recognized by the CIA and used to move public opinion to get us into wars, and to accept a surveillance state, among a number of policies that would otherwise have been roundly rejected by most thinking people.

Iowa Senator Frank Church first exposed the existence of the CIA’s Operation Mockingbird during senate hearings in 1975 and how it was being used to influence how Americans perceived the policy issues of the day.

In retrospect who, today, would support Lyndon Johnson’s not so great society that has destroyed the nuclear family and left Americans $120 Trillion in debt?  It’s doubtful even the recipients of the most massive redistribution of wealth in world history would vote for it now.

The inability to control our thoughts explains the mainstream media’s obsessive maligning of President Trump’s tweeting.  Trump’s tweeting stripped them of the ability to craft the message before you got it directly from the man himself.

Mika Brezinski made her fear of her coming irrelevancy explicitly clear barely a month after President Trump had taken the oath of office.

SCARBOROUGH: “Exactly. That is exactly what I hear. What Yamiche said is what I hear from all the Trump supporters that I talk to who were Trump voters and are still Trump supporters. They go, ‘Yeah you guys are going crazy. He’s doing — what are you so surprised about? He is doing exactly what he said he is going to do.'”

BRZEZINSKI: “Well, I think that the dangerous, you know, edges here are that he is trying to undermine the media and trying to make up his own facts. And it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsens, he could have undermined the messaging so much that he can actually control exactly what people think. And that, that is our job.”

A job she and the rest of the MSM did extremely well in hiding the total corruption of the DOJ, the F.B.I., the EPA, the IRS, and the Globalist sellout of Barack Obama, the Manchurian president.

Trump’s tweets have alerted Americans to the fact that he is indeed fighting a largely unelected Deep State – a permanent and unaccountable shadow government – that has its own agenda, an agenda that advances regardless of who Americans elect.

Yesterday a poll was released by Monmouth University that found three out of four Americans now believe the Deep State is very real.  That’s a good thing if we hope to fix our democracy but not so good for the mockingbirds employed by the mainstream media who are becoming increasingly doubted by a woke citizenry.

Once again it was Mika who led MSNBC’s Morning Joe panel in trying to salvage what remains of the media’s relevance:

Mika refers to the existence of the unaccountable shadow government as the “so-called Deep State” and blames President Trump for this:

“The attacks against the so-called deep state … by the president and some Republicans actually might be taking hold.”

Mike Barnicle followed with this tripe:

“And the idea that 74 percent, according to the Monmouth University poll, believe there is a deep state run by a military-political intellectual hierarchy, apart from government, and this is the gift we’ve gotten from Donald Trump.”

Sorry Mika, Mike and the rest of the suddenly irrelevant MSM, the military-political intellectual hierarchy existed long before Donald Trump became president.  Listen to President Dwight Eisenhower’s farewell speech more than 57 years ago:

More proof that Trump didn’t invent the concept of the Deep State comes from President John Kennedy “Secret Societies” speech that many people believed was the reason for his assassination:

Before Trump ever took office we discussed the existence of the Deep State that would oppose Trump at the close of 2016.  Virgil wrote an even more detailed account of the forces in place, the Deep State that would be opposing Trump’s every effort to restore America’s greatness.

Before ending their distortion of reality – the Deep State does exist – and deliberate lies about history – Trump invented neither the term nor the problem it poses to our republic – Barnicle couldn’t resist adding one more lie from the CIA playbook:

“This is the gift we’ve gotten from him surrendering to Vladimir Putin and causing chaos in the country.”

Sounds a whole lot like Hillary Clinton or former CIA Director John Brennan wrote that, don’t ya think?
