Was Lying to Congress S.O.P. For Obama’s Intel Directors? Leaked Transcript of Priestap “Closed Door” Testimony Contradicts Comey’s Sworn Testimony

Disclaimer:  The facts in this article have been sourced from The Epoch Times report on an unsourced leak allegedly of the congressional hearing transcript of the testimony of former FBI Director of Counterintelligence, Bill Priestap.

Elder Patriot – | A newly seen transcript of former FBI Counterintelligence chief Bill Priestap’s closed door testimony, if true, challenges the veracity of former director James Comey’s testimony during an open congressional hearing on March 20, 2017.

Here’s Comey back then:

Under questioning from Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, Comey testified that it was Bill Priestap who had advised the then FBI director to hide the Trump investigation from oversight by the Gang of Eight for nine months.

Priestap’s testimony, according Jeff Carlson’s account, contradicts Comey’s sworn testimony.

Priestap testified that even though he was the head of counterintelligence, and protocol should’ve had the Trump-Russia collusion investigation run through him, he was excluded from key meeting and from making decisions.

The former head of counterintelligence told congressional investigators that a handpicked group ran the investigations outside of his control.

In closed-door testimony before congressional lawmakers in June last year [2018], Priestap, who served as the head of the FBI’s counterintelligence division, acknowledged it was mostly FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI analyst Jonathan Moffa who were “driving the train.”

Talking to lawmakers, Priestap described the unusual circumstances under which he inherited the team in January 2016, saying the members had been previously handpicked by an unknown high ranking official at the FBI.

I can think of at least two reasons Comey would throw Priestap under the bus in an open congressional hearing.

First, Comey’s objective was to inject that narrative into the public consciousness with the help of the mainstream propaganda media, that whatever came later would be blamed on Priestap, not on him.

Second, and even more important to Comey, was to inform all of his co-conspirators of his testimony so that they could alter their own testimony to conform with Comey’s in advance of their being called to answer questions.

Carlson reminds us that:

Starting in October 2015 and into the first three months of 2016, FBI Director James Comey made a series of high profile reassignments that resulted in the complete turnover of the upper-echelon of the FBI Team working on the Clinton email investigation.

Why would Comey think this necessary?

Hillary Clinton’s private server was discovered earlier that year.  Was Comey attempting to staff the team charged with investigating her criminal actions with Clinton apologists so that they would bury her violations of federal statutes?

On July 30, 2015, within weeks of the FBI’s opening of the Clinton investigation, McCabe was suddenly promoted to the No. 3 position within the FBI. With his new title of associate deputy director, McCabe was transferred to FBI headquarters from the Washington Field Office and his direct involvement in the Clinton investigation began.

McCabe was immediately tasked with overseeing the Clinton investigation.

Only months before the transfer of Andrew McCabe’s transfer to FBI HQ, and his taking the lead on the Clinton investigation, longtime Clinton bagman Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe directed nearly $700,000 to the electoral campaign of McCabe’s wife.

Priestap’s name has largely escaped the same level of public scrutiny by congressional investigators leading us to long suspect that he had become an informant against his corrupt colleagues.

If Priestap’s testimony is indeed true then Comey joins the group of Obama intelligence heads that have lied to congress.

According to a Washington Post article, a 2014 internal investigation by the Central Intelligence Agency’s inspector general found that the CIA “improperly” spied on US Senate staffers.  Obama’s CIA Director John Brennan had blatantly lied under Senate questioning, denying it ever happened.

USNews reported that Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper openly lied to Congress in 2013 when he flatly denied the NSA was involved in data collection on millions of Americans.

Brennan, Clapper, and Comey are at the vortex of the intelligence community’s attempted coup against Trump.

With all that we’ve learned, the question arises whether Obama’s intelligence operation had turned their agencies into an information laundering operation to hide having turned them into American versions of the Russian KGB and the East German Stasi to protect the wrongdoing of the state.
