PUTIN Pulls Off LEGENDARY APRIL FOOLS DAY PRANK on DEMOCRATIC PARTY … BRILLIANT! [VIDEO]

YOUNG CONS – Russia has been much on our minds of late, with the concerns about attempted interference during the election campaign.

But Russia, often thought of as humorless, cold and forboding, took advantage of the day to troll the Democrats and the accusations of election interference.

From TheBlaze:

In what could go down as one of the most interesting April Fools’ Day pranks of all time, the Russian Foreign Ministry posted on its Facebook page an audio file that supposedly showed the agency’s new switchboard message.

Listen as it starts in Russian, then you hear English.

The message begins with, “You have reached the Russian Embassy. Your call is very important to us.”

“To arrange a call from a Russian diplomat to your political opponent, press 1,” the recording continues (in both English and Russian). Users are then instructed to “press 2” in order “to use the services of Russian hackers.” For “election interference” requests, “press 3.”

The AP confirmed that it was indeed the Russian Ministry and it was meant as a joke.

On Thursday, Putin dismissed the “endless and groundless” accusations of Russian meddling in the U.S. election, describing them “as part of the U.S. domestic political struggle.”

There has been no evidence that Russia in any way affected the actual election and there has been no evidence as yet of any collusion about the election between the Trump team and Russia.

On the other hand, there has been plenty of evidence of Russian connections to the Podesta brothers including 35 million given to the company of John Podesta and Tony Podesta lobbying on behalf of a Kremlin-linked bank against U.S. sanctions on Russia.

We give Russia a hat tip for the laugh of the day, but we’ll still be watching you…
