Elder Patriot – We’ve been saying that President Trump’s campaign promise to “Drain the Swamp” will start becoming evident soon. If John Brennan’s recent interview with MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House” is any indication then Obama’s CIA chief has already begun feeling the heat.
Brennan told host Nicole Wallace that President Trump is “unstable, inept, inexperienced, and also unethical.”
Let’s take this in order:
It wasn’t President Trump who displayed instability after his inauguration when the full force of the Washington establishment declared war on him. He remained true to the promises he made to the American people despite a withering assault from the mainstream media and the political class they propagandize for.
On the other hand, John Brennan’s instability was on full display when he converted to Islam while he was stationed in Saudi Arabia. What core value can we trust a man to hold fast to when he abandons his God while on a station assignment?
World Net Daily reported that, John Guandolo one of the F.B.I.’s foremost experts on Islam revealed that, “Mr. Brennan did convert to Islam when he served in an official capacity on the behalf of the United States in Saudi Arabia.”
Guandolo continued, “That fact alone is not what is most disturbing. His conversion to Islam was the culmination of a counterintelligence operation against him to recruit him. The fact that foreign intelligence service operatives recruited Mr. Brennan when he was in a very sensitive and senior U.S. government position in a foreign country means that he either a traitor … [or] he has the inability to discern and understand how to walk in those kinds of environments, which makes him completely unfit to the be the director of Central Intelligence.”
“The facts of the matter are confirmed by U.S. government officials who were also in Saudi Arabia at the time that John Brennan was serving there and have direct knowledge. These are men who work in very trusted positions, they were direct witnesses to his growing relationship with the individuals who worked for the Saudi government and others and they witnessed his conversion to Islam.”
Despite protestations that President Trump is ill suited to be president the incredible achievements of his first year say differently. Keep in mind that President Trump has few allies among Republicans in either house of Congress to move his legislative agenda.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, some one the president should be able to count on, has slow-played the confirmation of many of Trump’s appointees to key positions that has resulted in agencies continuing to be run by Obama holdovers.
Trump’s first year was so successful in fact that Thomas Binion, director of Heritage’s congressional and executive outreach program, who oversaw the “Mandate for Leadership” project, recently wrote that:
“… make no mistake, 2017 was a banner year for conservative policy victories. On that score, President Trump can confidently stack his record right up there next to President Reagan’s first year.”
The Heritage Foundation has just stated that 64% of the Trump Agenda is already done, faster than even Ronald Reagan. “We’re blown away,” said Thomas Binion of Heritage, President Trump “is very active, very conservative and very effective. Huge volume & spectrum of issues.”

John Brennan can claim no similar accomplishment. Following 9/11 three countries were designated as terror states comprising the Axis of Evil. Brennan was CIA chief while two of them – Iran and North Korea – came closer to becoming nuclear powers.
Granted, it was President Obama’s decision to fund one and ignore the other as China helped the other, but Brennan voiced no reservations and backed Obama throughout.
Admittedly, President Trump was not a career politician but that is how our Founding Fathers envisioned government would best serve the people.
What was true is that, Trump, as a successful businessman, was steeped in how powerful the forces of capitalism could be in lifting people to higher standards of living. Some of his projects had proven to do just that.
He was an expert in the “Art of the Deal” and, while most of Trump’s negotiations were with powerful businessman, they are the people who control the political class that now must answer to him.
To the contrary, John Brennan was a Communist as a young man. From CNN:
“At his first polygraph test to enter the CIA, the future director had a secret.
“John Brennan on Thursday recalled being asked a standard question for a top security clearance at his early CIA lie detector test: Have you ever worked with or for a group that was dedicated to overthrowing the US?
“I froze,” Brennan said during a panel discussion about diversity in the intelligence community at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s annual conference. “This was back in 1980, and I thought back to a previous election where I voted, and I voted for the Communist Party candidate.”
This probably served as a resume enhancer for Brennan when Obama was making the decisions. But what would the outcry have been had Donald Trump chosen a CIA Director with a similar past?
Only a man with no knowledge of history, or with an agenda that demands he ignore it, would ever embrace the failed dogma of Marxism that left hundreds of millions dead to silence their beliefs and left the remaining population living in poverty.
It is now known that ex-President Obama’s administration had been spying on Donald Trump during his candidacy and then into his presidency. They have found nothing to hang around President Trump’s neck.
Perhaps it’s due to the ineptness of the intelligence community that Obama purposely degraded during his term.
More likely it’s because President Trump really has led an exemplary life.
John Brennan? Not so much. In fact the Washington Post called for Obama to fire Brennan after he brazenly lied to Congress about CIA spying on the Senate Intelligence Committee (charged with CIA oversight) and then apologized for it.
From the Washington Post:
An apology and an internal review board might suffice if this were Brennan or intelligence leaders’ first offense, but the track record is far from spotless. In 2011, Brennan claimed that dozens of U.S. drone strikes on overseas targets had not killed a single civilian. This remarkable success rate was not only disputed at the time by news reports — even supporters of the drone program called it “absurd” — but as the Bureau of Investigative Journalism and the New York Times both reported later, President Obama received reports from the very beginning of his presidency about drone strikes killing numerous civilians. As Obama’s top counterterrorism adviser at the time, Brennan would have received these reports as well, so either Brennan knew that his claim was a lie, or he is secretly deaf. Similarly, Brennan denied snooping on Senate computers six weeks after Feinstein first made the accusation to the CIA in private, which means either that he was lying, or he had ignored a serious charge against his agency for six weeks, then spouted off about it without any real knowledge — hardly the behavior expected of an agency director.
John Brennan’s behavior in spying and lying for the Obama administration only confirms his belief that communism is best served where spy agencies like the KGB and the East German Stasi thrive.
President Trump should view Brennan’s attacks against him as proof he is doing things right by the American people.
