Elder Patriot – In mid-July, Ty Clevenger filed a lawsuit on behalf of his client Ed Butowsky. Butowsky was under attack for identifying Seth Rich as the source of leaked information from the DNC server and not Russia.
The circumstances of Seth Rich’s murder have never been made public. Perhaps because the FBI played some role in it. Or, is protecting those who did.
From the outset it appeared that the failure to investigate the murder of the young, idealistic, Democrat operative’s possible involvement in the DNC leak was avoided for political purposes, despite ever increasing evidence pointing to Rich.
Famed internet hacker Kim Dotcom even admitted to being Rich’s accomplice.
Yet the same intelligence community that spent three years trying to convict Donald Trump for a crime he didn’t commit, never interviewed Kim Dotcom or Julian Assange, who was the ultimate source of the DNC leaks.
Instead, Assange languishes in jail where his testimony cannot be heard.
Clevenger, who has sued the FBI for proof that Rich was the source of the DNC leak, in order to clear his client of making false charges, wrote:
Newly released documents from the FBI suggest that the Obama White House pushed intelligence agencies to publicly blame the Russians for email leaks from the Democratic National Committee to Wikileaks.
This afternoon I received an undated (and heavily redacted) transcript of an interview of James Rybicki, former chief of staff to former FBI Director James Comey, that includes this excerpt: “So we understand that at some point in October of 2016, there was, I guess, a desire by the White House to make some kind of statement about Russia’s…” and then the next page is omitted…
That almost certainly refers to the October 7, 2016 joint statement of the Department of Homeland Security and the Directorate of National Intelligence that the “U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC) is confident that the Russian Government directed the recent compromises of e-mails from US persons and institutions, including from US political organizations.”
In other words, it looks like the Obama White House put its thumb on the scale, pressuring intelligence agencies to adopt the Democratic National Committee’s talking points, i.e., to blame the stolen emails on Russian hackers rather than an internal source (like Seth Rich).
If the public ever learns that they were played by the FBI and Robert “What’s Fusion GPS” Mueller – that the Russians had no role in the DNC server leak – the intelligence agencies would be gravely discredited, as would Obama.
No wonder the FBI is tight-lipped about this information even though it doesn’t threaten national security in any way.
The same intelligence community that spent three years trying to convict Donald Trump over a theory of the crime they knew to be false, now appears to be blocking evidence that the Obama White House pressured those intelligence agencies to blame Russia.
That decision plunged America into distrust and divisiveness.
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” – Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Propaganda Minister
