Disappointment! Elizabeth Warren Gives Recycled Campaign Rhetoric to Grads. Offers No Vision For Their Futures.

ELDER PATRIOT – Graduating seniors and their guests at the commencement ceremonies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst were treated to a display of progressive doublespeak from U.S. Senator, Elizabeth Warren rather than a visionary speech about the future of America and challenging them to be the best they can be.

In what amounted to a hateful, accusatory campaign speech, Warren used her time to attack President Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions for axing F.B.I. Director James Comey, a person who everyone in both parties had demanded be fired at some time in the last eight months.

Warren told the audience, “We need a justice department not an obstruction of justice department.”

That’s true.  It doesn’t matter which side of the aisle you find yourself on we can all agree on that is a fundamental requirement of a civil society.  But Warren failed to make her audience aware of the fact that it was Jim Comey who had turned the F.B.I. into the obstruction of justice department under President Obama.  Obama’s A.G. Loretta Lynch ordered Comey not to investigate any Democratic wrongdoing too closely in order to hide the rampant corruption of his administration.

Warren reduced what should’ve been a visionary speech into a partisan attack on the president for the economic conditions she helped President Obama create while Trump was in private life running his businesses:

“Your elected officials are increasingly working only for the few — the very wealthy few.  And they are setting policies only to benefit the few — the very wealthy few. And if that doesn’t change then this country will fundamentally change.”

Warren completely ignored her support for Hillary Clinton’s campaign that promised that her presidency would be a continuation of Obama’s policies.  Under Obama we saw the greatest concentration of wealth ever amassed in the fewest people ever.

Now she had the temerity to place the blame on President Trump?  Trump has been in office for less than four months and has been blocked from moving his economic agenda by the Democrats, including Elizabeth Warren!!!

Warren must’ve believed that she was talking to a gathering of useful idiots.  Her less than inspiring wrap-up line did nothing to dispel that notion: “I understand that every extra minute I speak is that much longer before you can hit the bars.”

Warren’s challenged the graduates was to become activists for animal rescue, pre-natal care and bullying.  Now that’s sure to result in a great America and a successful future and a life fulfilled for these grads.  Hopefully Warren’s vision of pre-natal care isn’t abortion.

By comparison here are the words President Trump’s used to inspire the graduates he spoke to yesterday at Liberty University when he remarked about the problems in Washington:

“I’ve seen firsthand how the system is broken. A small group of failed voices who think they know everything and understand everyone, want to tell everybody else how to live and what to do and how to think, but you aren’t going to let other people tell you what you believe, especially when you know that you’re right.

“We don’t need a lecture from Washington on how to lead our lives.”

“The story of America is the story of an adventure that began with deep faith, big dreams, and humble beginnings.”

“No one has ever achieved anything significant without a chorus of critics standing on the sidelines explaining why it can’t be done. Nothing is easier or more pathetic than being a critic because they’re people that can’t get the job done.”

“The future belongs to the dreamers and not to the critics.”

Quite the contrast, eh?  Trump sounds a whole lot like Teddy Roosevelt.

Warren rages against the system she voted to create and Trump is actually the man in the arena working to clean up her mess.

It’s scary to think that Warren is the early Democratic frontrunner to run against Trump in 2020.  Is this partisan hack the best our country can do?
