Dr. Fauci… Information, or… Disinformation?

Just who is Dr. Anthony Fauci?  Besides being the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, that is.

Should he be considered a trusted member of President Trump’s COVID-19 response team or is he a member of the #Resistance surreptitiously doing damage to the president?

A woman who has truly earned the title of investigative journalist, Sharyl Attkisson has uncovered an interesting duplicity surrounding Dr. Fauci’s predictions about the case mortality rate of the coronavirus that originated in Wuhan, China.

(JustTheNews) You’ve probably heard that COVID-19 is far deadlier than the flu. But it could turn out to be more akin to a severe flu season. Surprisingly, both of those assessments come from the same authority at the same time: Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s chief infectious disease specialist.

Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has repeatedly cited more jarring figures in public. For instance, Fauci declared in March 11 congressional testimony that the current coronavirus “is 10 times more lethal than the seasonal flu,” which would be about 1 percent. His testimony generated news headlines that blared across the internet and television news, and it remains frequently cited today.

But among his learned colleagues in academia, he has provided the more conservative analysis.

“[T]he case fatality rate may be considerably less than 1%,” Fauci wrote in an article published in the New England Journal of Medicine on March 26. “This suggests that the overall clinical consequences of COVID-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza (which has a case fatality rate of approximately 0.1%) or a pandemic influenza (similar to those in 1957 and 1968) rather than a disease similar to SARS or MERS, which have had case fatality rates of 9 to 10% and 36%, respectively.”

A day after the NEJM article was published, Fauci was back to repeating the higher fatality number in public rather than “considerably less than 1%.”

President Trump has been criticized by treacherous Democrats first, for overreacting, and now, for now doing enough.  How convenient.

It’s fair to ask, then, exactly what has Dr. Fauci been telling President Trump that led the president to destroy the economy, the crowning achievement of his first three plus years in office?

Additionally, Dr. Fauci did more damage when he tamped down any possible enthusiasm surrounding treatment protocols that might be on the horizon… specifically the potential of Hydroxychloroquine.

Less than two weeks later, the FDA recognized Hydroxychloroquine as a treatment protocol.

With members of the #Resistance appearing everywhere Trump turns, like a game of whack-a-mole, anyone who thinks that’s an unfair question hasn’t been paying attention.

Conspiracy theory?  What in God’s name did the accusations that Trump colluded with Russia turn out to be?  Indulge me.

Dr. Fauci became Director of the NIAID in 1984.  He oversees an annual budget of $40 Billion dollars to “conduct basic and applied research to better understand, treat, and prevent infectious, immunologic, and allergic diseases.”

Clearly he didn’t spend it on studying the efficacy of drugs like chloroquine, hydroxychloroquine, Remdesivir, and HIV cocktails that had shown promise against coronavirus dating back to 2003.

In fact, a colleague accused Dr. Fauci of wasting as much as 87.5% of his research budget.

Both MERS and SARS were similar viruses. It was director Fauci’s job to conduct research on diseases that have a high probability of occurring.  Instead, Dr. Fauci stands accused of wasting significant sums of taxpayer money.

Certainly John Brennan’s CIA considered the possibility that Communist Chinese Party scientists might’ve been studying the virus at the level 4 bio lab in Wuhan.

Where was that interagency coordination we heard so much about during the impeachment hearings?

Which version of COVID-19’s lethality did Dr. Fauci use to advise President Trump… the catastrophic version?

Or, the one he used to cover his ass in the New England Journal of Medicine for when the time comes that people begin combing through the economic carnage for reasons politicians, and their media co-conspirators, can place the blame on President Trump?
