Don Trump Jr.’s Wife Files For Divorce

Elder Patriot – Just hours ago Vanessa Trump filed for divorce from Donald Trump Jr.

The couple issued a joint statement:

“After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways.  We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time.”

The president’s daughter-in-law made the filing.  She will not contest custody of their five kids.

The New York Post’s Page Six first revealed Vanessa and Don Jr., both 40, were having marital problems yesterday:

“Donald Trump Jr. and his wife, Vanessa Trump, are struggling through marital problems and friends say they are heading for divorce, multiple sources have exclusively confirmed to Page Six.

“Vanessa and the eldest son of President Donald Trump married in November 2005 and have five children. But while they have not legally separated, friends say they have been living separate lives.”

It appears that the incessant witch-hunt being conducted by special counsel Robert Mueller is taking its toll on the president’s family.

The Post said that a friend had told them that “Vanessa is by nature is a very low-key person, and she is uncomfortable with the attention her family is getting now that the Trumps are on the world stage. She is also worried for her kids, particularly after she received the threatening letter containing the white powder.”

In February, Vanessa had been taken to a hospital after she opened a letter addressed to Don Jr., that had been mailed to their Manhattan home.  The envelope contained white powder and a letter that read:

“You are an awful person.  This is why people hate you. You are getting what you deserve. So shut the f— up.”

While the powder proved to be nothing more than a prop her friend was quoted as saying:  “It was terrifying for Vanessa, who is naturally worried for the safety of her children.”
