Disgusting: Portland Fans Boo As Armed Forces Enlistees Are Sworn In

(Psychologist World) According to Jeffrey K. Hadden, the concept of brainwashing first came into public use during the Korean War in the 1950s as an explanation for why a few American GIs appeared to defect to the Communists.  Brainwashing consisted of the notion that the Chinese communists had discovered a mysterious and effective method of causing deep and permanent behavioral changes in prisoners of war.

Sixy-plus years later a significant portion of American society appear to me to have been successfully brainwashed through a combination of a failed education (indoctrination?) system and the mass media that no longer serves the public interest as I see it.

As a test of our hypothesis we turn to a halftime ceremony hosted by the Portland Thorns of the MLS.

(Oregon Live) A United States Armed Forces swearing-in ceremony at Wednesday’s game between the Portland Thorns and North Carolina Courage drew boos from fans at Providence Park after enlistees were asked to pledge to obey the orders of President Donald Trump.

The full oath that the enlistees recited is: “I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.”

It appears the crowd applauds the enlistees as they complete their Oath of Enlistment, but when the enlistees were asked to pledge that they would “obey the orders of the President of the United States” boos filled the stadium.

As you continue reading, keep in mind that Portland is home to the most actively violent Antifa chapter in the country.  Perhaps the halftime ceremony was indicative that Stockholm Syndrome has overtaken a portion of the Portland community:

(Medical-Free Dictionary) Stockholm syndrome refers to a group of psychological symptoms that occur in some persons in a captive or hostage situation.

Most experts, however, agree that Stockholm syndrome has three central characteristics:

  • The hostages have negative feelings about the police or other authorities.
  • The hostages have positive feelings toward their captor(s).
  • The captors develop positive feelings toward the hostages.

Now consider that unlike President Obama who started wars in Libya and Syria, under the orders of President Trump, the U.S. military has not engaged in any new conflicts, not nearly of that scale at least.

In fact, the president has caught flak from all sides for trying to pull our troops out of hotspots around the world – especially in the Middle East – and instead employ economic sanctions to achieve the cessation of hostile behaviors by rogue regimes.

When Iran shot down one of our reconnaissance drones everyone in the U.S. was clamoring for a heavy-handed military response.  President Trump explained why none was forthcoming:

Who lives in the Middle East?  Answer: Black and brown people.  #NotARacist, #NotaWarmonger.

How about the left’s beloved Hillary Clinton:

Seems to me tre we witnessing the end result of decades of public school indoctrination, where students are taught to recite and critical thought is discouraged, and CIA-directed mainstream media reporting determine what people think?
