Broward S.O.E. Snipes to be Ousted for Voting “Irregularities”

Elder Patriot – When Democrats, and their protectors in the mainstream media, use the term “irregularities” to describe the “failings” of one of their own they really mean rampant illegalities.

MIAMI — Counting unlawful votes. Destroying ballots. Sunshine Law violations.  Busted deadlines.

So many controversies have bedeviled Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes — culminating in her office’s troubles in the aftermath of Florida’s chaotic 2018 elections — that her days in office are now numbered, insiders and lawmakers say.

She’s losing support from fellow Democrats and faces the increasing likelihood of an embarrassing suspension from office at the hands of either Gov. Rick Scott or his likely successor, Ron DeSantis.

The above is not the opinion of a “right wing” website.  It comes straight from left-leaning and serves to confirm just how corrupt Supervisor of Elections Snipes’ conduct has been in running Broward County’s election.

Sadly, Democratic Senator Bill Nelson, who has as much to gain from Snipes misfeasance as anyone, refuses to acknowledge her unlawful behavior and concede.

Sen. Nelson continues the absurd mantra of every vote must be counted even as we learn “every vote” includes those of people voting illegally, voters voting multiple times, and the “sudden” discovery of more than 80,000 ballots well after voting had ended and whose chain of custody could not be established.

Even as Snipes’ fellow Democrats have been forced to admit her mishandling of massive numbers of ballots is no longer defensible, incumbent Democrat Senator Nelson refuses to concede.

At least one judge has found her in violation of Florida election law.  “Finding” uncounted ballots defies logic for those familiar with the Florida’s statewide system.

Florida used a system known as Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) Systems:

DRE systems employ computers that record votes directly into the computer’s’ memory. These interfaces may incorporate touchscreens, dials, or mechanical buttons. The voter’s choices are stored by the computer on a cartridge or hard drive.

Voters are provided with blank ballots that require them to fill in oval bubbles to indicate their choices, similar to SAT tests.

Immediately upon finishing, voters bring their completed ballots directly to the terminal that reads their votes.  Done. Recorded.

Supervisors of Elections are required to tabulate absentee ballots immediately upon receipt.

Simply, there is no way to “find” 80,000 or more ballots in the entire state, let alone in a single county.  Finding eight hundred ballots would be hard to explain.

Snipes has a history of this kind of malfeasance dating back to at least 2004.

No one can be as stupid or incapable of following procedure as we are told Snipes has been over multiple electoral cycles.  Even if we were to accept that explanation, following 8 election cycles of increasingly “irregular” behavior a suspension is not satisfactory.

That, of course, is what left-leaning Politico has suggested because they would like Snipes to be available to bring her unique application of Florida’s voting laws to the 2020 presidential election.

Snipes has to be removed for malfeasance.
