Breaking: Two Birmingham High School Students Victims of “Accidental” Shooting

Elder Patriot – The local ABC affiliate in Birmingham, Alabama is reporting that two students were shot at Huffman High School just before 4 p.m. today.

Birmingham Police Sergeant Shelton said two Huffman High School students were involved in what he characterized as an “accidental shooting.”

It has been confirmed that one of the victims is suffering from life-threatening injuries.  Neither victim has been identified at this time.

Sgt. Shelton confirmed that both victims had been transported to UAB Hospital for treatment.

The school has not been placed under lockdown and parents are being permitted to pick their children up.
