The Big Lie Clinton Resorts to Conspiracy Theories

ELDER PATRIOT – “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” – Joseph Goebbels, Master Nazi Propagandist

With only a sliver of the media reporting anything favorable on Donald Trump he is still tied or ahead of Hillary Clinton in the most recently released polls.  Clearly, the truth, no matter how minimally reported, is Mrs. Clinton’s enemy.

Mrs. Clinton’s ability to campaign is either limited by physical infirmities or she is hiding from the media to avoid answering questions about her now obvious criminal activity while serving as Secretary of State.  Probably both.

This has left Mrs. Clinton desperately leveling charges against any media support of Donald Trump as coming from members of the Hillary defined alt-Right who she claims have been reduced resorting to advancing conspiracy theories against her.

Because of Mrs. Clinton’s failed Russian policy due to her own naïveté she decided to launch a conspiracy theory of her own by claiming that the Russians are behind the hacking of her illegal homebrew email server, the hacking of the DNC, and that the Russians now threaten to “influence” the coming presidential election.

There’s only one problem with Mrs. Clinton’s narrative, there is absolutely no evidence to support even a single one of her claims while others – Guccifer and Wikileaks for example – have come forward admitting their involvement in the hacking.

Of course, the Russians are always attempting to hack into our critical infrastructure and intelligence agencies just as we are always trying to hack into theirs, as well as that of every other country.  This is why Mrs. Clinton’s deliberate use of an unsecured server while handling classified information is so damning for her.  She knew the exposure to prying foreign hackers she was risking.

As unproven as Mrs. Clinton’s narrative about Russian hacking is turning out to be this hasn’t stopped the echo chamber of the mainstream media from advancing her narrative in an effort to help Mrs. Clinton’s plummeting poll numbers.

Today’s Washington Post blasts the headline, Intelligence community investigating covert Russian influence operations in the United States.

The article is based solely on planting the seeds of the narrative that any irregularities in our presidential election must be based on the Russians.  However,

by the fifth paragraph the writer is forced to admit his sources have no basis for such allegations:

“The official cautioned that the intelligence community is not saying it has “definitive proof” of such tampering, or any Russian plans to do so. “But even the hint of something impacting the security of our election system would be of significant concern,” the official said. “It’s the key to our democracy, that people have confidence in the election system.”

The fact is we have more to fear regarding potential election rigging from Jeh Johnson, the Department of Homeland Security that he heads, and the entire Obama administration than we do from foreign actors.  Johnson has made it clear that he opposes Donald Trump and that he believes it’s his duty to do whatever he can to prevent him from becoming president:

“I believe that it’s the responsibility of those of us in national security and homeland security when a leading candidate for office proposes something that is irresponsible, probably illegal, unconstitutional and contrary to international law, un-American, and will actually hurt our efforts at homeland security and national security, we have to speak out.,” Johnson told Andrea Mitchell during an appearance on MSNBC.

The facts show nothing Trump has suggested is irresponsible, illegal, unconstitutional or un-American since everything Trump is suggesting is permitted under current laws and have been employed by past presidents when they were confronted with similar threats to our country.

Only a fool would believe Johnson’s claim that Trump’s proposals would “hurt” national security.  As to potential violations of international law, it’s not our president’s job to elevate international law ahead of the Constitution, the document he took an oath to uphold.

This entire false narrative has been constructed to provide the Obama-Clinton machine with entrée to rigging the election.

Mrs. Clinton is preparing to deflect the blame for a rigged election on the Russians.  The Russians should have no way of accomplishing such chicanery if the current administration had spent the past eight years guaranteeing the security of our elections.  As the video above explains they have no interest in conducting fair elections.

Abraham Lincoln warned us of this eventuality over 150 years ago when he famously said:

“American will never be destroyed from the outside.  If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”
