PAT BATEMAN – Ever since the topic of Presidential compensation came up, Donald Trump has promised to give all of his salary to charity. Today, as his first payment came through, President Trump followed though on this promise.
Sean Spicer presented President Trump’s check for the 1st quarter of his first year as commander in chief in the amount of $78,333, to Protect and conserve our American coal mines in order to help our nation be self reliant in the energy department! The money donated will also be allocated to preserving the rights of American fishermen and hunters.
Subject Politics Reports: The Head of the Department of Interior, Former Navy SEAL Ryan Zinke, accepted the check and pledged to FIGHT to preserve hunting and Fishing lands. Zinke also pledged to FIGHT for coal miners!
Of course, the liberal media STILL found a way to be negative about this. Right after Trump’s check was presented, a reporter questioned Zinke’s pledge to fight for American energy. AND ZINKE DESTROYED THIS REPORTER!
REPORTER: HOW’S THAT WAR ON COAL THING WORKING THERE? YOU’RE GOING TO OPEN IT UP BECAUSE OF WAR ON COAL? ISN’T THAT KIND OF CONTRARY TO WHAT TEDDY ROSEVELT WANTED?
ZINKE: WE’LL … 3 THINGS. ONE IS ENVIRONMENTALLY IT’S BETTER TO PRODUCE ENERGY UNDER REASONABLE REGULATION THAN WATCH IT GET PRODUCED OVERSEAS WITH NONE.
SECONDLY, JOBS MATTER. THERE’S A SOCIAL COST OF NOT HAVING A JOB. IN SUMMER COMMUNITIES COAL, MINE, FORESTRY ARE THE ONLY JOBS.
AND LASTLY, NATIONAL SECURITY. IT IS, FROM A SEAL PROSPECTIVE, BETTER TO MAKE SURE WE’RE NOT HELD HOSTAGE ON OUR ENERGY NEEDS IN THIS COUNTRY, AND LIKE YOU, I DON’T WANT MY KIDS TO HAVE TO FIGHT FOR WAR OVER THE ENERGY RESOURCES WE HAVE HERE. SO NATIONAL SECURITY IS CRITICAL.
